overall alright for in between.
best game 10/10
it's funny when the character says "oof" when you jump; cause this whole game is jus oof
Very clunky controls. Motion-blur levels are nauseating. UI feels like it's in a rough alpha state. Halfway up the first obstacle-course tower there were some missing stairs, I fell and died - the "Start Game" button did nothing, only option was to quit.

I didn't expect much and was just curious to try a low-budget game, but in the end, it was too frustrating to leave anything other than a thumbs down. I had to restart multiple times for different reasons. The game had issues like the screen suddenly going completely white, forcing me to use Alt + F4 to exit. There's no manual save option, and while there are checkpoints, they aren’t very helpful—especially when you get stuck, like at the elevator, where the battery wouldn’t respawn. Another major annoyance was that every time I clicked to shoot, the game would minimize as if I had pressed the Windows key. While I could return to the game, it happened almost every other enemy encounter, making it extremely frustrating. At least the achievements work fine, but overall, the experience was far too buggy to enjoy."
The Mystery Train is a short indie action-adventure with simple controls and a few puzzles. The atmosphere was quite boring and the shooting felt a bit off, but I appreciate the developer’s effort. The game is suitable mainly for indie fans looking for a quick experience.
