JA2 Stracciatella also works, but the only part of Stracciatella I care about is provided more simply by cnc-ddraw. Other compatibility wrappers exist as well. "1.13" is not a community patch but an overhaul (a dishonestly named one IMO). It makes radical changes to the core game, for example allowing silencers to be attached to sniper rifles (it is akin to Horn of the Abyss in Heroes of Might and Magic III).
