It's complete junk. Don't buy it. Just clicking around and waitign for events to happen, no competition, no difficulty. You'll hoard insane amounts of money in the first weeks, and when you've hired all agents it is totally useless. Politics are very flat and artificial. Not worth even €0.99.
Intelligence Trader was an Early Access simple 2D text/browser-like espionage strategy game where you would do missions to exchange information to manipulate events around the world... that was the intention, had the game ever been completed. Whether the idea or implementation was any good is academic as the developers abandoned the game then removed it from Steam. The game was abandoned roughly 4 months after launch and hasn't been updated in 4 years. It blew past the developers commitment to complete the game without any notification or admission of failure from the developer. From a technical perspective, the game did't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There were no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There was no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there was no guarantee this game would look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There was no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. Problematically, the user interface for this game was just 2D text heavy panels with a few static images... it might as well have been a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game was, we can measure the interest in the game by how much people bothered to play it. Intelligence Trader had achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. All achievements only scored 1.5%... the same rate across the board, and with a game this unpopular, that implies one or two players only played enough, and capped the achievements... probably the developers. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. That's right, only 5. This is a pitiful enough number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is remarkable, but also to be expected. This complete and utter rejection of the game from gamers should be a keen information point for anyone considering buying shovelware like this. Gamers just didn't take this seriously, and for good reason. Unethically, the developer sold keys to this abandoned Early Access game into cheap, nasty game bundles, where they knew it would be advertised and sold as a complete game. This seems to have been done in an attempt to mislead gamers into buying a knowingly faulty, defective and incomplete product. When a developer does this for a game they have zero practical intention of completing, this is essentially a scam, an intention to get paid for a broken/unfinished product. Often this is done as an exit strategy, as the developer takes the money and runs. The developers removed the game from Steam without finishing the game they promised to gamers. No refunds have been given, the developer kept all the money they took from gamers.
Abandoned game.
