failbetter sent me. this RULES SO HARD

I liked it. In the beginning it was very hand-holdy, but don't be discouraged: it gets better once you're past the 'tutorial'. The puzzles made sense, for its price it's amazing. The only thing I did not like was the UI - copying info to transmit it was prone to being overwritten and overall I would have preferred to have a board of words to quickly pick (instead of having to go to ILOG first).

This is absolutely worth playing. You have a gradually-growing array of tools to gather information, and you work your outwards, identifying and exploiting different sources. Your biggest challenge quickly becomes staying organized enough to locate the data you need from one source to correlate with another. And it demonstrates a truism of analysis: the most important skill of all is copy/paste.

Ayo it's good. Short and sweet. Not too hard, but just hard enough to be engaging. (I needed hints on the final thing, and I would have liked more notetaking options/a slightly nicer search experience.) Story's good, feels like a satisfying conclusion to everything built up. Puzzles good. I had a good time \o/

Fantastic case of mystery game in broad alignment with the obra dinns and type helps of the genre, with a strong, well-made and unique interface. Excellent, airtight controls and design make this one really shine. Better than some commercial products.

The folks at Failbetter turned me on to this and I am so glad I read that newsletter. I had such a great time uncovering all the details and piecing together events. I did have to grab a few hints along the way. Sometimes to confirm I was on the right track, and a few others because I wasn't sure what to do next. But, I loved how spoiler free they were so that I could still feel that sense of accomplishment when it clicked. It played just fine on the Steamdeck. I hope the devs will be doing more games in the future. I'll certainly be recommending this one.
