love
escape room vibes and a fun card game. Why does Act 1 feel like the best and main part of the game?
Los mejores 6 euros invertidos de mi vida.
Great game and fun lore for those who like that sort of thing. If you like deck builders like slay the spire you'll love this game.
100 Strength 100 Hp Ouroboros
Amazing game. Puzzles and twists all around, accompanied by an intense sense of danger.
This game is nice. To review it properly i'll have to spoil a twist that happens after around 2 hours of game, because this twist doesn't affect only the story, but the gameplay as well. So if you wanna go in blindly, i'll just say the game is worth it, but the change after 2 hours can be frustrating if you're expecting a pure creepy roguelike deckbuilder, so be aware.
The game has 3 acts, each of them have their own gameplay style and mechanics. The first act is a creepy roguelike deckbuilder where you do short runs and try to progress in the story by interacting with the cabin where you are trapped, it's simple, it has a dark and mysterious vibe, the cards and the enviroment are more rudimentary, with paper cards and board, and it's short, around 2 hours and you will be out of the cabin and on the second act.

The second act is trash... just kidding. The second act turns the game into a 2D pixelated pokémon-esque adventure, where you roam around a continent collecting cards to build your deck and defeating a few minions and then bosses to progress. This changes the game completely and can threw some people away. It almost threw me away, but i stuck around and ended up enjoying it, but not as much as the first act. This act is a bit longer, for introducing lots of new mechanics, like energy and orbs, and cards. It took me around 5 hours to finish it.

Then there's the third act. Where you go back to a scenario just like the cabin, but larger, metalic and technnological, with a hologram board and cards similar to floppy disks. The gameplay changes to something more similar to the roguelike style, as you advancing room by room, but now you're only doing one big run where you can keep your upgrades and cards, and if you die, you respawn at a checkpoint and only lose a few minutes of progress. It took me around 3 hours to finish this section and then the game.

For those who don't wanna play the second and third act, you can unlock the Kaycee's mod by pressing Shift+M+K on the title screen, This game mode is the first act on the cabin, but you can play as much as you want, with new cards and some optional challenges to make each run more difficult and unlock rewards.

About the difficult. The first act is very easy, the only thing that can get you is some bad RNG or misplays at the beginning. The second act was also easy, the most difficult part was building a good deck at the first hour and get used to the new mechanics, after that, it was fine. The third act was the most difficult one because some of my initial cards were crap, and since there's no way to change the initial deck without restarting the game, i had to wait until the introduction of the upgrade system and better cards to build an actual decent deck. And after that, easy peasy lemon squeezy.
About the story. I don't have much to say about it, it's okay, i guess. It's a found footage mystery with some lore to be explored while you play. Recommended because this game has a lot of variety, isn't that long and building OP decks is very satisfying, especially on KM.
Visionary, basically art.
An unbelievably compelling main story experience with many twists, and an addicting challenge mode to follow - could not ask for more.
