Innocent Forest: The Bird of Light

Tis nice when i find a little hidden gem somewhere in the wilds. This I can say is one of them. Its clearly not for everyone being a linear visual novel with minimal 3D interaction... luckily i am a fan of linear VNs. But if you are not a fan of immersive picture stories with relaxing music I don't think this is for you. But honestly I am glad I found this, honestly for 5$ (also the sequel) its not the worst thing to throw my money at. The story is cute, not attempting to be groundbreaking. I enjoyed it for what it was, seems this writer likes to pull tear jerkers towards the end. I found everything it did effective and was only as long as it needed to be. I see most people complaining about the VR elements being minimal, but honestly I had no problem with this. It interacts like most VNs. The main thing I found this to do was heighten my immersion. I tend to get more immersed in novels than i do in most games, VNs especially suck me in. So being in the scene helped a lot to cement it. Game is good, I plan to check out the developers other games now.

Visual novel that you read with VR environmentals for the immersion. The story is great. Very impactful and memorable. Played through a lot of games recently and this one is the most memorable. Pacing of the story is casual and many times I stopped to just relax in the environment for a while before going forward. If you're looking for a low stress game to unwind after a hard day of work, this one is a good bet. Great game to play late at night with a hot cup of Chamomile tea. Great game to play when you can't sleep.

Игра которая должна быть VR игрой, но получилась визуальная новелла. С одной 3D сценой и одним видеороликом. Сюжет кажется посредственным в начале, но в конце, можно сказать, все ниточки сходятся в красивую картину (драма). Рекомендую к прохождению. Время игры займет 1-2 часа Я пока не играл во вторую часть напишу обзор и там.

It's a short kinetic novel that's primarily reading. Nothing groundbreaking and the VR aspect is present though minimal; that said it is a nice little story.

This is a very touching story. Most of it is reading, only one live action scene, although there is Japanese narration throughout. I had to use OVR Advanced Settings to relocate the center of the room in order to get it to work.

KInetic Novel that takes approximately one hour to finish (mostly spent reading text and clicking next). Good storyline but nothing groundbreaking, and the VR format isn't really justified (it could also have been a flat game without any major issue). But still, for the price it's a nice way to spend an evening. Played with a WinMR headset without any issue, except the screen freezing for a few seconds while the engine gets the sound file (when clicking the voice icon).
