Nice little game, unique style. Worth buying if you enjoy games with a good story.
Wow, pretty interesting visual novel! I just had a quick playthrough after buying this on sale for 49¢ and not expecting much, but this one is good! Will definitely play this through.
A Bloober-style cop-out trigger warning before the game starts, but that's fair in art. Almost a good story, but wastes its potential. Unclear direction, but I can deal with that. Concerning Steam reviews about achievements not working, but I don't care for a game like this anyway. What I can't forgive is the slow pace without options to increase the speed or even the text size, the inability to skip dialogue/scenes that are in no way unchanged from the first playthrough, and above all else - the title screen, which (after a very slow fade-in) hovers over BEGIN instead of CONTINUE as if the devs intend for you to accidentally erase your save and make you start all over again from the unskippable, repetitive, frustrating opening sequence. Which I did. Three times. I bought it for 50 cents and I'm still irritated I spent an hour on this.
Absolutely loved this game. But it's not for everyone. If you're intrigued by the art of writing, language, and nuance then this could be a great experience for you. It is very difficult to express meaning through words. The art of the written word to convey meaning is almost a lost art. This game picks up that art and makes it a journey. Where does it end? It will depend on how you interpret the writing. You will have to pay attention to this one but if you're interested in writing and language and pay attention then this is a rewarding experience, well worth the small price for such a unique twist on turning communication into a game.
engrish is be vary hard. pretty unique stuff.
I loved the visuals and the vibe the whole game creates. Unusual take on a typing game, that works well
