About
You play as Jian Xun, a 25-year-old scriptwriter drowning in deadline anxiety. Every time you wake up in your cramped, cyberpunk-style room, the piercing mechanical alarm clock is dead set at 11:55. This is not just high-pressure occupational anxiety; it's a life-and-death struggle for the dominance of consciousness.
At first, you simply follow the plot to get the job done. But soon, you'll discover that your computer document has gained self-awareness. Not only does it automatically correct your wording, but it also attempts to completely take over your creation. Faced with collapsing laws of physics and a ghost keyboard typing on its own, you must find clues to break the loop under extreme pressure.
In this tug-of-war, obeying the rules is a dead end. Enter the computer screen and confront the system's challenges head-on. Obtain scattered "keyframe silhouette fragments" and drag them into the correct order through rigorous logical deduction.
When the false "perfect morning" arrives, you will touch upon the cruel secret at the bottom of the world: Are you really a living human who stumbled into a dream? Or are you merely "painful sample data" generated by an AI to simulate creativity?

Developed and published by YvelRevo, INFINITY DEADLINE is a psychological thriller that combines visual novel storytelling, interactive puzzles, and science fiction into an unsettling narrative about creativity, technology, and the fear of running out of time. The story places players in the role of Jian Xun, a young screenwriter who repeatedly awakens just five minutes before an important deadline. What initially appears to be a stressful workday quickly spirals into an eerie cycle where the same moments repeat endlessly, strange events invade reality, and the line between fiction and truth becomes increasingly blurred. The game embraces a slow-burning approach to horror, allowing tension to build naturally through mystery and uncertainty instead of relying on constant scares. One of the game's greatest strengths lies in its narrative design. Every repetition of the time loop introduces new clues, unexpected developments, and subtle changes that gradually reshape the player's understanding of Jian's situation. The story explores themes of artistic pressure, self-doubt, artificial intelligence, and the fragile nature of identity, creating an experience that feels both personal and philosophical. As Jian's computer begins behaving in impossible ways and the scripts he writes seem to develop lives of their own, players are encouraged to question whether they are witnessing psychological collapse, digital manipulation, or something even more unsettling. This layered storytelling rewards patience, as seemingly insignificant details often gain new meaning later in the adventure. Gameplay revolves around investigation and logical thinking rather than action. Instead of combat encounters, players spend much of their time examining environments, piecing together fragmented information, and solving puzzles that move the story forward. A standout mechanic involves organizing key moments from the narrative into their proper sequence, effectively reconstructing broken memories and hidden truths. This puzzle system fits naturally within the game's central themes, making every challenge feel like an extension of the story rather than an interruption. The progression steadily introduces more complicated scenarios, ensuring that players remain engaged while uncovering the larger mystery. The presentation does an excellent job of reinforcing the oppressive atmosphere. Although the game is relatively modest in scale, its cyberpunk-inspired aesthetic, surreal imagery, and distorted environments create a memorable visual identity. Familiar locations gradually become stranger with each loop, while subtle environmental shifts reward players who pay close attention. Sound design is equally effective, using ambient effects, recurring alarms, and unsettling audio cues to maintain a constant sense of discomfort. Rather than overwhelming players with loud horror moments, the game succeeds by making ordinary spaces feel increasingly unnatural as reality begins to deteriorate. Beyond its suspenseful premise, INFINITY DEADLINE also raises interesting questions about the relationship between human creativity and artificial intelligence. The narrative examines whether original ideas can truly belong to a single creator and explores the consequences of relying on intelligent systems to produce artistic work. These concepts give the story more depth than a typical psychological thriller, encouraging players to think about the broader implications of technology while remaining invested in Jian's personal struggle. The mature content focuses primarily on psychological distress, disturbing imagery, and existential themes instead of graphic violence, making the emotional impact more significant than simple shock value. The game is not designed for players seeking fast-paced action or extensive freedom of exploration. Its strongest appeal comes from its narrative, atmosphere, and puzzle-solving, meaning those looking for traditional gameplay systems may find its slower pace demanding. Some of the repeated time loops can also feel intentionally disorienting, though this repetition serves the story's central concept and reinforces the feeling of being trapped within an inescapable cycle. Players who enjoy thoughtful storytelling and psychological mysteries are far more likely to appreciate what the game is trying to accomplish. Overall, INFINITY DEADLINE is an imaginative and intelligently crafted indie experience that successfully blends psychological horror with narrative-driven puzzle mechanics. Its compelling premise, memorable atmosphere, and thought-provoking exploration of creativity and artificial intelligence allow it to stand apart from many conventional visual novels and horror games. While its deliberate pacing and abstract storytelling may not appeal to every audience, those willing to immerse themselves in its mystery will discover a rewarding and emotionally engaging journey that lingers long after the final revelation. Rating: 8/10
