Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

This game has been excellent. I played it on release and it was difficult to find items on the map. They must’ve patched it because it’s not significantly easier to track active items and quests.

I was really disappointed with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The game keeps showing a Vulkan error, and it seems to require ray tracing to run properly. My laptop is only set up for medium graphics settings, but the game still makes ray tracing essential, which makes it difficult or impossible to play on hardware that should otherwise be capable of running it. The graphics requirements feel unnecessarily restrictive, and there should be better options for players who don't have high-end hardware. I hope the developers improve optimization and provide a proper non-ray-traced option in a future update. Only buy if you have high end pc.

This is first-person and highly story-driven game, so if you are looking for a open world first person shooter experience similar to Red Dead Redemption, this might not be the game for you. However, if you did like games like RDR, you might like this even though this game focuses on puzzle solving and your character (Indy) being as stealth as possible to solve his missions, the game does offer weapons you can use, in fact you can pick up almost anything and use it as a weapon in true and honest Indy style fashion which is surprisingly fun to use and an effective way to sneak up on someone from behind and neutralize your enemy quietly and quit frankly refreshing to not have to try and find weapons and ammo to move forward in the game, and of course you will use the bullwhip a lot and as we all know it is Indy's signature tool and weapon. This quiet approach is in fact the best way of succeeding in this game since if you come guns blazing, the enemies will ALL hear you and notice you and you will be overwhelmed quite fast and you will end up graveyard dead. Playing this game and not skipping the video cut scenes makes you feel almost part of creating a new Indiana Jones movie, there will be a lot of them so if you need more action and active part in the game this may again not be for you, this will be more for casual gaming with some fight scenes and puzzle solving, exploring a partial "open world" map with some freedom to wander around and find side quests beside the storyline. There is a lot to explore if not only to see and experience the amazingly detailed locations taken from real world places such as the Catacombs in Vatican City, Egyptian Pyramids and the jungle all brilliant stuff. The game allows you to revisit locations so that you can complete side missions you have missed or is still unfinished. If you are an Indy fan you will most likely like this game, even if you are not there is nothing to dislike, graphic is stunning, characters are great and accurately played even with some slapstick humor tossed in. My Fedora is taken off in the honor of the Swedish founded Game Studio MachineGames for a brilliantly created game that gave us back some Indiana Jones adventure in to our life's again. This game is highly recommended especially if you feel nostalgic about the Indiana Jones movies, this will take you back.

Das Indianer Jones Gefühl wurde hier perfekt eingefangen. Versucht gar nicht erst mehr Filme zu machen. Bleibt bei Videospielen wenn ihr diese Qualität beibehalten könnt. Lockere Sprüche, ein paar Faschisten vermöbeln, Rätsel lösen und wunderschöne Orte erkunden.

Indiana Jones y el Gran Círculo me está sorprendiendo para bien. La ambientación es espectacular y explorar cada escenario, resolver los puzles y descubrir secretos hace que te metas muchísimo en la aventura. La historia y la recreación del universo de Indiana Jones están muy conseguidas, y además el juego se disfruta especialmente por la exploración. Llevo unas 10 horas y de momento me está pareciendo una aventura muy recomendable para cualquier fan de Indiana Jones y para quienes disfruten de juegos de aventura y exploración. 🎮 Muy buen juego.
