About
In Trusted Hands is a narrative-driven repair shop simulator where fixing phones turns dealing with people’s private lives. Messages, photos, and hidden files can surface during repairs, placing you in the middle of secrets you were never meant to see.
As the story unfolds, customers with complicated pasts cross your path, and strangers with unclear motives begin asking for information in exchange for money. Every decision matters — what you share, what you hide, and who you choose to help can change lives, shape the city, and affect your own future.
You run a small phone repair shop under constant pressure: exhaustion, stress, rent, and inspections are part of daily life. The repair process is intentionally simple, keeping the focus on moral choices, relationships, and long-term consequences rather than technical complexity.

The repair side of things is pretty straightforward and fun. However, the narrative twists in the first few in-game days had me shocked, and some of the free exploration thrusts you into really bizarre situations. At one point, I unintentionally started a date with a customer and tried to romance a married woman. The choices can be unclear, so it's not really your fault. If you're someone who's up for whatever chaotic surprises games have to offer, In Trusted Hands will keep you entertained. Hi I'm Himetokki! I love playing and writing about indie and otome games :> I stream, do short writeups about my experiences and participate in game festivals. See you around!
In Trusted Hands offers a refreshing twist on the simulation genre by combining the responsibilities of running a neighborhood phone repair shop with an engaging narrative centered on ethics, trust, and personal choice. Rather than treating every repair as a simple technical task, the game transforms damaged smartphones into windows into other people's lives. Every device that lands on the workbench has the potential to reveal private messages, sensitive photographs, financial troubles, or complicated relationships, placing players in situations where curiosity and professionalism constantly collide. This distinctive premise gives the experience far more emotional weight than a typical business simulator and immediately establishes its identity as a story-driven management game. The narrative is the game's greatest strength, with each customer bringing a unique background and a series of interconnected events that gradually unfold throughout the campaign. Instead of relying on predictable morality systems, the game presents nuanced decisions where there is rarely an obvious right answer. Players may choose to respect their customers' privacy, use confidential information for financial gain, or intervene in situations they believe require action. Every decision influences future interactions and can reshape the lives of multiple characters, making each choice feel significant. This emphasis on meaningful consequences encourages careful consideration instead of impulsive decision-making, while also increasing the replay value through multiple branching storylines and endings. Outside the narrative, the management mechanics provide enough structure to keep the gameplay engaging without overshadowing the storytelling. Running the repair shop involves balancing income, expenses, inspections, workload, and personal well-being while ensuring the business remains profitable. Financial pressure often becomes another factor influencing ethical decisions, as the temptation to exploit valuable information can become increasingly difficult to ignore during challenging periods. Although the repair process itself remains relatively accessible and uncomplicated, its simplicity allows the game to maintain its focus on the human stories unfolding behind every cracked screen and damaged device. The cast of characters adds considerable personality to the experience. Customers are more than anonymous clients dropping off electronics; they are individuals with believable motivations, secrets, and personal struggles that gradually become intertwined with the player's actions. As relationships develop, seemingly minor choices can create unexpected ripple effects that influence future encounters and alter the broader narrative. The inclusion of outside parties interested in acquiring confidential information further raises the tension, creating an atmosphere where every repaired phone represents another ethical crossroads rather than a routine business transaction. Visually, In Trusted Hands embraces a charming hand-drawn presentation that gives the repair shop and its surrounding world a welcoming atmosphere. The clean interface, expressive character artwork, and thoughtfully designed phone screens help immerse players in each investigation without overwhelming them with unnecessary complexity. The cozy visual style contrasts effectively with the serious themes explored throughout the story, making moments of betrayal, compassion, or difficult decision-making even more impactful. The soundtrack and overall presentation complement this balance by maintaining a calm tone while allowing the narrative to generate its own emotional intensity. While the game excels in storytelling, players expecting an in-depth repair simulation may find the mechanical side somewhat limited. Phone repairs are intentionally streamlined, and much of the experience revolves around reading conversations, examining digital content, and weighing the consequences of difficult choices. Those looking for highly technical repair mechanics or fast-paced gameplay may feel that progression moves at a deliberate pace. However, players who enjoy narrative adventures, visual novels, and choice-driven simulations will likely appreciate the thoughtful design philosophy that prioritizes character development and moral complexity over mechanical depth. One of the most compelling aspects of the game is its exploration of privacy in the digital age. It encourages players to reflect on how much responsibility comes with access to another person's personal information without forcing a particular moral viewpoint. Instead, it presents believable situations where compassion, greed, necessity, and professional ethics frequently clash, allowing players to determine the type of technician and person they ultimately become. This mature approach gives the story lasting impact, as many decisions remain thought-provoking long after their immediate consequences become apparent. Overall, In Trusted Hands succeeds by delivering a distinctive blend of management gameplay and interactive storytelling built around trust, responsibility, and the consequences of personal choice. Its memorable characters, branching narrative, and morally complex scenarios create an experience that stands apart from more conventional simulator titles. Although the simplified repair mechanics may not satisfy players seeking a deeper technical simulation, the emotional depth, strong writing, and meaningful decision-making make it an engaging and memorable experience for fans of narrative-focused games.
No even a game really. It's so short that it should've been a part of their previous game. My game was literally 5 days. Things aren't really explained and so I had no idea what I could and couldn't do. This has got to be the worst game I've played on Steam. Refunded.
