Don't miss this wonderful gem of a psychological horror game. It's beautiful, it's touching, it has genuinely awesome villains* and very well-written characters. Play it!
好游戏,但我一点也解谜不了,何况游戏非常恐怖、还有追逐。

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is a great game. The story is captivating, the idea is very interesting, and vinyl records sound very good, shout out to The Living Tombstone. I wan't found of fighting, so I avoided combat as much as possible. I liked the collectibles, it was quite interesting to collect everything, and not hard. Overal, very good game, and Dave is the goat,
I first found out about this game a while ago through a Steam review on the Alan Wake page that pointed out the similarities. At the time, I wasn’t convinced I wanted to give it a chance. Now I wish I had tried it earlier, because it surpassed my expectations by a long shot! In Sound Mind is a first-person psychological horror game that doesn’t rely on cheap jump scares like many indie titles do. Instead, it builds a distinctive atmosphere through subtle environmental changes and a persistent stalker enemy (Agent Rainbow) who constantly tries to catch you off guard. You play as Desmond, a therapist attempting to uncover the truth by entering his patients’ minds and helping them confront their behavioral issues. Each patient’s story is engaging and worth exploring. The puzzles are enjoyable, and the original music by The Living Tombstone makes the world feel alive. Even the main building is thoughtfully designed, and the progression feels natural without the need for immersion-breaking handholding techniques (such as yellow tape or conveniently placed white cloths). Despite some areas offering extensive exploration, it’s actually difficult to get truly lost, you know exactly what to do with every step and that's how you know the developers are actual gamers. There are a few aspects that could have been improved, such as the combat, which lacks depth, and the limited enemy variety, which leads to some repetitive encounters. The starting area could have functioned more clearly as a tutorial, and the final boss felt somewhat underwhelming. However, this is one of those rare cases where I’m glad the developers prioritized the game’s flow, narration, voice acting, sound design, and overall atmosphere — all of which make it a genuine pleasure to play. In conclusion, In Sound Mind is one of the best indie horror games I’ve played, and it deserves far more exposure. I highly recommend picking it up — especially at a 90% discount, which is an absolute steal for such a great experience.
TL:DR: Not for me - but definitely a good game for some players. There's a lot of heart put into this game, and it shows. The puzzle aspects and the limited lore are great, and I wouldn't mind exploring a mostly open-world version of this game without direct combat. The first boss is a great example of indirect combat - she'll attack you, but the only thing to do is run away and hide. I love FPS shooter open world games - the new Fallouts, Far Cry, etc, but the FPS shooter aspect is where this game falls way off for me, alongside the heavy-handed mental health messaging and the levels being separate entities. The gun controls and the enemies that show up are both so floaty that combat is never satisfying outside of boss battles, which rarely involve direct combat. I also realllllly dislike the fact that this is not an actual open world game, it's 5-6 open levels that you can return to, but if you do, you have to play the whole lever again to go back and get the collectibles. I think they should have had several ways to get back to the main base throughout the levels, and have the levels connect more directly to the hub (just make them the "doors" instead of tapes). As for the mental health messaging: I would very much like more games that deal with mental health, and the "guilt the therapist carries" theme in this one is a great message - but the actual dialogue, messaging, and even the songs are so on the nose. I think a subtler approach, even if you kept the same characterizations, would go a long way. The phone calls are way too much, I get it. I don't really know that I would call this game Psychological Horror so much as Psychological Examination - and what it examines isn't very original. The therapy language is so light that it made me wonder if the creators have ever actually been to therapy, and I feel like that's an indictment. Also - these people would be going to a psychiatrist if it was court-ordered. If you are OK with heavy-handed "messed up" characters and language that is very on the nose, and if you can get past the gunplay and having to redo levels for collectibles, then you'll likely really enjoy this game. I just can't recommend it for the average gamer or those who play for the characters / story, as it's frustrating to play at many points and the dialogue just turns me off.
This game is fantastic. The story, puzzles, voice acting, and atmosphere are all well done. Without spoilers, it follows a therapist exploring the minds of his patients. As such, it can touch on some heavy themes around mental health. Each chapter feels unique and has it's own mechanic that you're trying to "solve", but there is still a coherent plot unfolding across all chapters, despite their uniqueness. It's not too long and doesn't overstay it's welcome. Plus, the soundtrack is a headbanger. Would recommend.
Amazing stutter fest. Worse than any UE5 release. Had to quit at Milton Wharf because of how unbearable it got.
