Great walking sim with fantastic sound design.
What the heck did I just play? I think it's about someone who is creating a computer game but then it was like walking through a theme park ride! Very well done, not too long, not too short, no puzzles or jumpscares but very enjoyable to walk through. Rating: 7/10 Wait, I forgot to mention... there is a cat. Amended rating: 8/10
This is a nice, short horror experience that delivers on exactly what is promised. It showcases that the dev knows how to build an environment and atmosphere for a horror experience. I can't wait to see what's next from Wickwire Games.

Cool game. I love the environment and music. For a free game it was nice https://youtu.be/_65Y5wVDyrQ
Кроме весёлой музыки тут ничего нет. Никакой жуткой атмосферы, никакого сюжета.
Wow ! I loved it. One of the handful of free Steam games that I've played through to the end. Beautiful graphics used to create a truly creepy atmosphere...no horror or gore but lots of dread. Play it.
I'm not entirely sure what the heck I just played, but it was atmospheric as all heck. The graphics were lovely/disconcerting, even if they did make my potato of a PC blow some smoke out of its ears and lose some frames from time to time. The music was on point and accentuated both the dreamlike nature of the narrative as well as it's disturbing and unnerving characteristics. As for a plot..............well, as near I can ascertain, you're a game designer and as you ponder what steps to next take as you build your latest project you go to bed and have some incredibly disconcerting dream sequences based on the game, your house, and the movie you just watched. It doesn't necessarily make any coherent narrative sense, but it has a nightmarish flow of subtly disturbing and ominous scenes, leading up to a very unnerving climax. The game can't be saved, but it can be finished in 20 minutes, so that's not really a big deal. Recommended, but just know going in that it's not a typical game with an actual plot.
Short but very well made. Hope this developer makes more soon.
There's really no horror here. But it's a decent little 20-minute walking simulator with a nebulous story.
The Good
+Looks great +Nice music (i.e., the non-public domain stuff) +Didn't run my rig hot like so many little indie games like this
YMMV
~Took a literal minute to start game. Had to check Task Manager to confirm running. ~Forced WASD, but you don't need much more than the forward key ~Was actually pretty relaxing, rather than scary ~One baby jumpscare? Just a little startle, really. ~No achievements ~Can't pause, which is an annoyance if you have to be an adult. I play short games like this purely because I get interrupted so often with real life.
The Bad
-A number of objects obviously clipping into one another -There was no indication in the last room that my lantern went out. I thought the game just faded to black, so I missed part of the final scene. There should be a sound or visual effect to differentiate a lantern failure vs a screen transition. Played on: Win11Pro, i7-14700K, RTX5060 Ti 16GB, 32GB DDR5-6000 @ 1920x1080 using KB&M
