For a rhythm game fan, and even at full price. its less than a dollar per song. You cant argue about value on this alone. Pretty decent storyline, but the card puzzles are quite frustrating and time consuming since theres isnt much guides at launch. But for the rhythm game alone, its well worth getting it even at full price.

夯爆了,美术和玩法简直夯爆了
As a long-time Arcaea fan and an avid rhythm game player, In Falsus was definitely the game I was looking forward to the most this year. Being the devs behind Arcaea, I had high expectations on having a immersive and exciting experience of both the story/worldbuilding, as well as playing the actual rhythm game. And man did they deliver well. First of all, this game is not for people who are just looking to play the rhythm game and nothing else. This game is much more than that, it is a new way to experience rhythm games in general. There are only 7 base songs when you first launch the game, and by progressing the story you will unlock more songs, up to 70 in total by the end. If you just want to rush through the story for the songs, this isn't the game for you. The gameplay itself is very unique - 6 keys + mouse which was very difficult to get used to, especially for beginner rhythm game players. For players who are more experienced in rhythm games like myself, I found the difficulty gap between 11/12/13 to be very big, but playing a lot goes a long way, you will eventually get used to it. Plus, the gameplay is very fun, so who cares right? However, I'm not sure why they have removed the demo as I'm sure players would be more inclined to buy the game once they have had enough time to experience the game. One thing I do want to point out is that the sound effects for hitting the notes are very nice in this game, usually I would turn these sounds off in other VSRGs, but I kept them on in this game. Now for the story. I honestly came for the rhythm game but stayed for the story in the end. Starting with the highs, the characters were really well written in my opinion. Giving each character their own timeline and POV is a great way to show development, and some characters that I didn't care for at the start (Iris) had become one of my favorite characters by the end of the story. Having full voice acting also goes a long way too. For the lows, although the premise is really interesting throughout, I can't help but say that there is a lot of really confusing concepts that are not explained until a lot later in the story. I feel as though this could have been spaced out better, instead of giving you a lore dump near the end. However, the story did also get better and better as the arcs progressed, which was nice I guess. There is also a puzzle element in this game, which is card crafting. This was something I did not expect to have this much fun with, but the puzzles were actually really well designed and enjoyable. Having the gameplay loop being progressing the story to get songs, playing songs to get pieces for card crafting, and crafting cards to beat the encounters in the story is genius, as this is the main reason why I was able to play for very long sessions at a time. Unlike Arcaea, this game is not something where you should search for solutions online or watch someone else play. The story, the gameplay and the card crafting all combined together is what makes In Falsus what it is. It is truly a unique rhythm game experience that met my expectations, and I am very excited for future updates.
