An absolutely outstanding experience to play through. Being a sighted person, I'm not entirely sure what I expected out of this game, but I was excited for it's release nevertheless. At first, I struggled to comprehend the world around me, but piece by piece, I figured out the sound cues of the environment, how to learn which direction I'm facing, and whether I'm at a wall or not. Over time, the game didn't feel any different than a graphical game, because I had gotten much better at it. In regards to the story the game follows, It's incredibly interesting in it's portrayal. The voice acting and level design is immaculate (In my opinion), and has some genuinely difficult puzzles to complete. Towards the end, I really started to know my way around the areas the game has you play in. The on-screen color associated with your current location helps, and is a really smart design decision, especially for people who have low vision. The few horror elements really got me, and some made me too afraid to even move or turn for possibly minutes at a time. The way that the story reveals itself to you slowly at some points, but quickly at others is comfortable, and yet never makes you feel truly in a rush to complete it. There are never any time limits, races, game over conditions, etc., and is a game you can take at your own pace. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone that has a spare 2 hours or so, and is curious about the medium and story.

For any people who are sighed and unsure if this is for you, it totally is! The atmosphere is amazing, the voice acting is unbelievable, and navigation is a lot easier than you think. If you love thriller/atmospheric/story games, it's worth your hour and will be one of the best free horror games you play. If you're lost, just remember you can follow walls. Just hold forward and only turn left/right and follow walls and you'll very quickly find what you are looking for.
I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I read the description. But this game was incredibly well made, and gave me more of a perspective into how it is not being able to see, but still needing to complete puzzles. I definitely recommend giving the game a try, and the story and voice acting is also really well made and done.
Incredible story and voice acting!
I would really recommend anyone to play this game, it is a very solid game. The voice acting is extremely well done, the atmosphere is really good and gives this creepy feeling, the game has vergood audio cues for navigation, the navigation in general is very solid, i never fealt lost or was wondering where i had to go, since that was clear to me all the time. The puzzles in the game is really well done, especially the last puzzle which gets me thinking every time i play. All in all a fantastic game and deserves all the love.
Impulse Response is one of the best indie game that I have ever played. It is hard to believe that the game was made in a single month during the Games For Blind Gamers game jam 2026. The amount of polish this game has is extraordinary. It is amazing to see what is possible when accessibility is prioritized from the beginning. I highly reccomend playing this game and experiencing what is for me the best game I have played in 2026.
This audiogame is abosultely peak. It takes the "explore a techy facility" trope and does an incredible job with it. The story is great, tension goes up and down at the perfect times. Even if you're not used to navigating 3D, it's easy to get the hang of the cues after a while!
One of the very few audiogames I enjoyed. The game was incredible, would recommend to everyone.
This is a piece of ART. The voice acting is surprisingly INCREDIBLE. The plot is solid and the gameplay can be hard and you will get lost (a lot!) but it gets increasingly easier as you get used to. Atmosphere 10/10
