Short and easy to learn combat with great voice acting. If on steam deck use layout Keyboard (wasd) and Mouse layout. On joystick behavior, apply joystick mouse and on r3 click, apply move cursor FeelsOkayMan :steamthumbsup:
what the ♥♥♥♥ did I just play
This ♥♥♥♥ slapped my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nips off. Never before has elder abuse been such a palatable and invigorating experience. With every blow you truly feel like a completely deranged psychopath with nothing to lose and everything to gain! We need to see more from this dev, there are infinite possibilities with this format.
For the price, it's really not bad. It's pretty unpolished and it's pretty poorly made, but I did find myself laughing a ton. I don't know what the deal is with the developer but apparently, according to other reviews (so this may not be true), the developer is unprofessional and has harassed other people. If this isn't the case and the reviews are lying, I'd say this game is worth 2 dollars. If the reviews aren't lying, then I'd say it isn't worth 2 dollars. It's worth noting, when I found this game on steam, there were two screenshots that read "I have sold 4 copies in 12 hours i am a f***ing failure please buy my game".
휴.. 진땀승;;
It is the same thing, over and over again. The "combat system" is pulled straight from games like mount and blade, there are only 2 things that happen that make the game sorta interesting, but overall, it was a bore to play through. There are demo's with more content, and actual fun gameplay. Do not touch.
Impact to the Head is an independent first-person action game developed and published by W0nnaFight that combines brutal melee combat with a character-driven narrative. Instead of focusing on large-scale battles or endless weapon upgrades, the game tells the story of a former soldier whose reputation is destroyed after being branded a coward and discharged from military service. Cast aside by society and struggling to rebuild his life, he ultimately turns to contract killing as a means of survival. What begins as another dangerous assignment gradually evolves into a defining chapter of his life, creating a story built around guilt, violence, and the possibility of redemption. The game's premise immediately distinguishes itself by placing emotional conflict alongside physical confrontation, giving players a reason to care about the protagonist beyond simply completing missions. Combat is the centerpiece of the experience, with an emphasis on close-quarters encounters viewed entirely from the first-person perspective. Rather than encouraging reckless button mashing, the gameplay revolves around delivering heavy, deliberate strikes that make every confrontation feel personal and intense. The developers clearly aim to create fights that carry weight through realistic animations and impactful sound design, making each encounter feel more grounded than the exaggerated action commonly found in the genre. This design philosophy helps establish a consistent atmosphere where survival depends on timing, positioning, and commitment rather than overwhelming enemies with an endless arsenal of weapons. The narrative is one of the game's most appealing qualities because it explores the consequences of failure instead of celebrating traditional heroism. The protagonist is neither an idealized warrior nor an unstoppable action star. Instead, he is portrayed as someone attempting to live with the consequences of his past while navigating a violent criminal underworld. His transformation into a hired assassin raises moral questions throughout the journey, allowing the story to explore themes of regret, identity, and personal responsibility. This darker approach gives the campaign a more mature tone, making the progression feel driven by character development rather than simply moving from one action sequence to the next. Presentation also contributes significantly to the overall experience. The environments are designed with realism in mind, creating believable locations that reinforce the game's grounded atmosphere. Cinematic cutscenes seamlessly connect major story moments with gameplay, helping the pacing feel natural while highlighting important emotional beats. Voice performances from real actors further strengthen immersion by making conversations and dramatic moments more convincing. Although Impact to the Head is an indie production, it demonstrates a clear ambition to deliver a cinematic experience that prioritizes storytelling alongside satisfying action. The game's mature content supports its serious themes without relying solely on excessive spectacle. Violence is portrayed with visible injuries and blood, emphasizing the harsh realities of the protagonist's profession while avoiding unnecessary exaggeration. Combined with occasional moments of dark humor, the overall tone remains engaging without becoming relentlessly bleak. This balance helps maintain player interest throughout the campaign and prevents the narrative from feeling one-dimensional. The focused scope also works to the game's advantage, as it concentrates on delivering a cohesive story instead of stretching its content with repetitive activities or unnecessary distractions. While players should not expect the enormous scale or extensive customization found in major AAA releases, Impact to the Head succeeds by remaining faithful to its central vision. Its linear structure allows the story to progress at a steady pace while ensuring that combat, cinematics, and narrative remain tightly connected. Those seeking expansive open worlds or deep role-playing mechanics may find the experience relatively straightforward, but players interested in immersive storytelling and grounded melee action will likely appreciate the focused design. Overall, Impact to the Head stands out as a promising independent action title that places equal importance on narrative and gameplay. Its realistic first-person combat, emotionally driven storyline, cinematic presentation, and immersive atmosphere combine to create an experience that feels more personal than many conventional action games. By concentrating on meaningful character development and impactful close-range encounters, W0nnaFight delivers a focused adventure that embraces quality over scale. For players looking for a mature, story-focused action game with a distinctive premise and satisfying melee combat, Impact to the Head offers an experience that is well worth exploring. Rating: 6/10
