Today's update brings 5 new AI Illuminati to the game, and up to 4 human players. Tune in tomorrow for more!
___
Battle for world domination in this darkly satirical, turn-based strategy game—based on the beautifully balanced deck-builder from Steve Jackson Games. Play against up to 3 AIs, or dial up the full experience in a 4-player cross-platform game!

THREE ERAS OF GLOBE-SPANNING CONSPIRACY
A long-time fan favorite, the first Illuminati[/I] video game pays homage to its history, leaning into the game's classic editions: the original cards from the ’80s and ’90s, alongside a new set of cards for the modern day. Each era follows the conspiracies and concerns of its time, showing how the world's greatest conspiracies echo forward into the future. Is there a connection between the three? You're not cleared for that.
CONTROL OR DESTROY
Each group controlled by your Illuminati adds more power and more special abilities to fuel your schemes, as well as greater resistance to your enemies. Build your conspiracy from groups like the F.B.I. and Russia—or The Men in Black, The Evil Geniuses for a Better Tomorrow! The rabbit hole is deep, with over 275 groups across the eras. Controlling more groups grows your conspiracy—or destroy them, either to foil a rival or to feed your own dark goals.
PLOT & THE WORLD PLOTS WITH YOU
Don’t like the rules? Break them! Each turn your minions deliver a new Plot, to speed your progress or trip your enemies—or why not both? World domination comes closer with each sinister Plot you play—and the basic game comes with 112 Plots across the eras.
All 382 cards are illustrated, with more sinister details and cross-references than you could fit in Warehouse 23 where they keep the Ark of the Covenant.
CHOOSE YOUR CONSPIRACY
Choose from 6 different secret conspiracies, each with different strengths, different abilities, and different ways to win the game. Some are driven by raw power, or money. One just wants the world to be more weird…while another only wants to burn it all to the ground. Each Illuminati has a unique design, including custom music, effects, and visuals.
ILLUMINATI is a full game experience for newcomers and for long-time fans. The game has been tested by hundreds of people so far, now we're excited to get the game into many more hands—but we're looking beyond making a complex game easy and fun to play. For the past nine months, we've been introducing new cards and new features every few weeks, and we are just getting started.

Juego abandonado, no lo compren, anda mal y no cuenta con las actualizaciones que deberian arreglar varios fallos. La interfaz es tosca y fea.
Not played this for about 20 years! Great adaptation - love the 2020's groups which recapture my memories of laughing at the aptness of some of the conspiracies that are created! Initially had issues on Mac but the devs. fixed VERY quickly for a small team - keep up the good work!
This video game is a tribute to the fans of the card game. In that aspect it is excellent. All the eras, all the cards. But as a video game it has aspects that can be improved. Two important ones are support for steam deck and support for Spanish language. I understand it's a fan effort and a small studio. That's why first my full support, then the respectful suggestions or critical pleas.
Game is Very buggy and settings don't work when you change them. Very odd graphic settings. May try again in the future if the BUGS are fixed.
It's a great game and 3 decades ago predicted so much of the unbelievable things that have happened since the turn of the century and still it continues. ETR! is long overdue!
So in Cleveland and in the 80's there was alot of ridiculous graffiti in the oddest of locations. There was a band called Devo and one of the members created a ridiculous church. I never believed it was supernatural in any way, but it was very funny parody of all cults and all religions. It was the craziest stuff I'd ever seen. Alot of references led me to read The Illuminati Trilogy. I even found an old book about how the Freemasons were hijacked by the Illuminati. And then one day I was bored with it all and just went back to studying physics and math. I owned this game and there was one feature that is IMPOSSIBLE to carry over into this platform. So I believe this game can never be the same as the card game was in the old days. I'm not going to say out loud what that feature of the original game was. Because I don't want to ruin it for everybody. I can't make this game work on my computer. My mouse has to be dragged far below the bottom of my screen to make it click the right selection. I can't change the resolution settings. I'll need to spend time getting that fixed before I can even try playing it. Even though the ad said 50% off, I still had to pay full price. At this time, I can't play it.
this is an alpha version sold as a completed game if this was early alpha stages it would have potential but since its sold as completed its poorly done its too bad as the card game is fun but this is disappointing hope the illuminati actually make this game polished and fun in the future
Some changes to the game to accommodate playing online but still very very close
Simultaneously a fantastic update and a faithful reimagining of the Illuminati card game. Clearly still an early access game, but getting better by the day. Well worth the money!
I have the physical version of this game, but have only managed to convince my friends to play it with me once! Fortunately now I can play it online (or at least against the computer). Love Steve Jackson Games, and this fits right into my weird, conspiratorial, X-Files loving style!
