RPG Maker strikes again! Il Sole e la Luna (Translated to English: the sun and the moon and the crap RPG maker asset flip) is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child, or an Italian amateur game developer." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. There's no English translation for the game, but that's ok. It turns out, the language of bad games is universal. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement. This agreement includes questionable (and possibly law breaching) privacy requirements that no gamer should ever have to engage in. Bizarrely, the EULA references Capcom several times (not in English), implying the developers are fully aware of infringing copyright for profit here... it would be good for the gaming industry if there are legal consequnces for terrible games and copyright infringment. That aside, developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the Italian EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Gamers who want a good retro JRPG experience would be better off playing the originals, like Final Fantasy, Star Ocean or Chrono Trigger. While this is free, the quality, thanks to RPG Maker being a terrible game engine, is far too low to recommend to PC gamers.

Un bel gioco gdr vecchio stile MADE IN ITALY !!! Lo stiamo provando in live e lo abbiamo trovato molto carino con un buon combat system.La grafica bidimensionale vi farà fare un tuffo nel passato ma non per questo "vecchia" , anzi , i personaggi son fatti molto bene come dei manga. Bella la possibilità di scegliere un ruolo (prete,mago,eroe,guerriero). Consigliatissimo per gli amanti del genere o per chi vuole avvicinarsi a questo tipo di giochi Bravi ragazzi

Il Sole e la Luna è un gioco fatto abbastanza male. Tra errori d'ortografia, punteggiatura spesso inesistente, una storia che lascia il tempo che trova, musiche molto ripetitive così come i combattimenti e personaggi davvero poco caratterizzati posso dire di aver buttato 3,10€. Sconsigliatissimo.

personalmente lo trovo molto carino come gioco, molto consigliato.

L'unico gioco su Steam a supportare solo l'Italiano come lingua, grandissimo. Scherzi a parte, il gioco è divertente, ne aspetto altri. RedFlameFox
