About
Join Ika and the Creature on their season-spanning trek through the Migration Path!
This colorful puzzle-platformer features 60 levels of puzzle-box challenges that are sure to test your wit -- and your platforming abilities!
Set in the serene nature of a post-post-apocalyptic American countryside, this world has long forgotten humanity -- until Ika the Woodpecker discovers a lone child on his trek south for the Winter.
CONTROLLER RECOMMENDED! - All common controllers are supported.
Ika was the Captain of his flock - an ace flyer, skilled archer, and role model for the fledglings under his tutelage. Days before his flock's annual migration, he was severely injured on a scouting mission, resulting in the loss of his left wing. Flightless, he was abandoned by his people as they fled Winter's bitter grasp.

On his unprecedented perilous trek, Ika discovers a child of an unfamiliar breed. He quickly finds the Creature is capable of magical feats, allowing him to progress far further than he ever could alone.

Alone, they are powerless. But together, the duo can surmount any obstacle in their way.
Ika serves as the duo's muscle -- he is responsible for the platforming and item use in the game. While his loss of a wing resulted in his inability to fly, he can still jump and use his good wing to clear obstacles.

The Creature is nimble and dexterous -- he is able to climb vines to reach greater heights and can fit in small spaces. But his small stature means he's unable to jump, and his weak arms prevent him from using the items that the duo craft.

When the duo is united, they unlock the ability to craft items by combining the items they possess. Ika and the Creature can each hold one item, and combining them allows them to craft a new item to overcome obstacles in their path. There are dozens of combinations to discover and experiment with!

The Creature has magical abilities that allow him to channel the things he eats into elemental power - use this ability wisely!

Wielding the elements results in many new possible items to craft. Try to find all the combinations!

Every level will give you a Star Ranking depending on how fast you beat it. This puts your puzzling abilities and your reflexes to the test to truly show your mastery!

this game has a charm to it that reminds me of my young days. the creativity behind it, the sound track, the gameplay - its all really well put together. Great work by the developer.
great gameplay and music, very good for a free game. highly recommend it
This game is the best! The levels have a great progression in how challenging they are and the music is so nice and fits well with the game. Creature runs like a wacky waving inflatable arm man and I love it ☺️

Very fun game! Enjoyable to replay the levels to try and earn three stars for every level! Controls are easy to get the hang of and are explained well in the beginning. The music brings a very mellow vibe to the game!
You can throw a child into a beehive. 10/10
This was an absolutely beautiful experience. At first, I saw the preview where you threw a child, and I wanted to try it out. When I started, the story gripped me immediately. The growth of the character and catching of feelings really carried. The game design is smart and develops incrementally. There are definitely levels far trickier than others, but everything is built up to teach you what's possible. By far, the end of the marsh was a light bulb moment where everything clicked, and I was grinning and giggling uncontrollably. Amazing work. Thanks for this free gem.
It's very relaxing and the art style reminds me of stradew valley 8/10
Great puzzles and platforming, enjoyed figuring out how to get 3 stars on all levels. Some of them were very tricky and fulfilling once I got it. Tranquil music, great vibes, and an unexpected story. Can't wait to see what else Dongleduck has in store, beautiful game!
Excellent game. The colors, animations, music, and gameplay are stellar. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
Cool little game, I think at the time of completing this (not writing) I was third in the world. The puzzles weren't absurd, but the story was really really cool.
