About
Somewhere across the multiverse, people are wasting their lives playing idle games. Their lost moments condense into Chronum — crystallized time — and you're going to harvest every last drop of it.
Idle Time is a factory-building incremental game where you extract, transport, and process Chronum to fuel a time machine built by Bill Tyme, an eccentric physicist with a fractured timeline and questionable ethics. Start by dragging glowing time crystals to your factory by hand. End by orchestrating vast automated networks of extractors, relay towers, and reactors across a procedurally generated landscape.
Build a Chronum empire — Place extractors on resource nodes, connect them to your factory with automated Idlers, and watch the Minutes roll in. Optimize throughput with buffers, compressors, splitters, and speed-boosting accelerators.
Research 7 tiers of technology — Progress from simple extraction to advanced buildings like the Time Warper, which batches and multiplies Chronum value, and the Rift Stabilizer, which tears open portals to ultra-rich resource nodes.
Design complex logistics networks — Route Chronum through pipe networks that follow grid paths, bundle along shared routes, and navigate around large structures. Split production lines, chain relay towers, and balance throughput across your operation.
Prestige and push further — Complete each run to bank Universal Idle Time, then spend it on permanent upgrades that carry across future playthroughs. Each cycle starts faster and reaches further.
Procedural terrain — Every map is generated fresh with concrete sprawl, wind-swept desert dunes, and fields of animated grass that sway in the breeze. A dynamic day cycle casts drifting cloud shadows across the landscape.
Meet Bill Tyme — Your guide, mentor, and the reason you're doing all of this. He's brilliant, unstable, and not entirely sure this whole thing is going to work out.

This game looked fun, but 5 min in several things topped working for me including the main building disappearing and unable to connect buildings doing it according to the tutorial which you are not able to read back. This game is far from ready to be released
Got to the "second" tier of the game and I hit a brick wall with the next goal. The game introduces "idler buffers" "towers" and "idlers" Idler Buffers don't do much since the only thing that can unload from them loads at the same speed, and they're not allowed to logjam the main queue into the "factory". So the idlers will sit there, "idle"(wow it's in the name) because they're not allowed to send their outputs, and they don't get a queue to send things over the wire, if there's not a spot in the buffer, they won't send anything, even if the buffer might be empty by then, or the "spot" hasn't actually been taken yet because the "unit of time?" hasn't made it to the factory yet, they don't get to do anything. Dozens of items surrounded by idle item senders, while the main processing queue reads ~2/10.I tried a handful of ideas, and the one that seemed least supported by the game worked marginally worse. I like the idea of this game, but I felt unable to meaningfully interact with the game to make the number go up faster. The game appears to be bottlenecked by things outside of your choices and your upgrades.
Game is completely broken. Dev is AWOL; stopped communicating 4 days after release.
Game does not work, you get stuck because the time processor does not process any more than 4.8 k time per second no matter if i upgrade both storage and amount processed by. Game is broken sadly seemed cool tho
So tl;dr "wow i wish the dev didn't suck because this game is rather cool!" So lets get the easy and short part out of the way What this game is/wants to be is amazing and so much fun, it's like if factorio was more chill and more idle I beg anyone to steal this idea but do it right So why am i say thing dev sucks this game doesn't have "bugs" there is a game somewhere mixed in with the bugs. it's to the point where i refuse to believe the dev played their own game. it's BAD there are mechanics that move resources around, but they don't work well together nor make alot of sense how they work. it's fun when you get it going and you learn all the annoying bullsheit the dev used ai in the game, to make the achievement and i'm 70% sure to code the game too only about 5ish hours of gameplay. just enough you can't refund it That's how i feel about this game, some ai trash thrown together to make a quick buck. and if that's not the truth, it's even worse than i thought
Really digging this! Super soundtrack! The concept of Minutes as currency is clever and the network mechanics are neat. Overall, I'm enjoying it.
A lot of gameplay for the price, would recommend it, had a lot of fun, enjoyed Bill Tyme's split personality :D
