Game is extremely boring and one-dimensional. Progression is linear and choice is just a illusion, you can only upgrade the one ship and the lab and that's it. The other ships, weapons, and modules are a myth since they don't even exist. Much better idle games out there. Even mobile ones are far superior.
After about 3 weeks I can give a review. The game is very much in an unfinished state first and foremost. As far as I can tell there is only 2 Prestige layers, and the bonuses from the 2nd really do not make the game play more interesting. Once you reach the point of having about all the upgrades 50%to 100% invested in the 1st layer, its basically over at this point. As there is no noticeable draw to keep moving forward. Perhaps with more time invested more aspects may be added, but currently there is no progress for certain things; Such as Metal ore, and MP(mod points) with nothing ever gained in these. Basically the 1st pestige layer stalls out just above level 1000. At this point you can only farm the prestige currency CC. And push levels in upgrades. Which all "Lab" upgrades get wiped on the 2nd prestige level outside of Automation, map spaces and unlocked weapons/ships(granted these will get levels cut severely, I went from 50+ to lv 7 on first layer 2 prestige). The shown upgrades for the 2nd prestige tier are basically DPS resource speed/ related or increasing the cap/retaining levels of certain layer 1 upgrades. So with that basic foundation I can say this. The game needs LOTS of work. The current format leaves basically 0 incentive to play past the first prestige layer other than grinding for probably months to unlock 2 new ships(only 6 in total in the game) and the potential too rise to higher mission/player levels. Basically everything aside from those 2 ships are available from prestige layer 1. There is "loyalty" mechanic that will see you getting more damage/resource gains as you play daily, but it does not really change the core gameplay and set up, just makes resets a little easier/faster. As an Idle game, it fills the spot in a short term regard, but for long term play is sorely lacking in any drive to keep pushing. However there is potential here, and some signs of something good down the line, However in its current state, I can only say its not worth investing more into than the 1st prestige layer for now. Past that is just really not in any way interesting as its basically just rerunning layer 1 over and over, with only the slightest push in progression from layer 2. However I will say layer 1 once you understand some of the nuance and which upgrades you actually need for progression in layer 1(they are not as apparent at first) it actually was fairly fun for the first couple weeks. TLDR: Fun for a couple weeks, basically pointless after that in current form. Current game: 2/5 Needs a lot of polishing and I think it could be really decent. Prestige layer 1: 4/5 Not the worst grind, once you find the right rhythm Prestige layer 2: 1/5 Really Really bad currently Do not recommend playing past layer 1 currently.

Basically nothing happens. Very impenetrable, not fun idle game.
As of the most recent patch, it's a pretty decent numbers go up game. It desperately needs a UI rework, but if you can look past that, it will scratch that itch to destroy things faster each cycle. I do hope they put some effort into working on the UI, even if it's just a visuals pass, but I can see this game being worth sticking with as long as the developers do. It also doesn't seem pay to win, and as of this review seems to actually hide the pay to win mechanics behind some menus, which in this day and age is worth a thumbs up alone.

I do understand the point that the game is Early Access, and it does have little complex UI, no offline rewards (I cannot be sure if that is the case, but I have not seen anything being earned, correct me if I am wrong!) and mostly reset benefits are confusing a little for my experience. It looks interesting type of game to have little things to do and reset for bonus, but it does make me a little bored to not progress (again, offline rewards would be useful to get me going than being on the game all time, still correct me if it was not the case), but I still would come back to play this up in future. Achievements does usually bring me challenge to this game to finish it, but it does missing that from these types of games, I always like to have some challenge to get them all for progress long time gameplay, but it is optional but gets me going. It is simple and has at least daily rewards to get items which can progress a little bit, but that is something to think about. It is still doing updates and features, but whenever it comes better at the time when it releases updates, I will come back to try them up and see if that brings me joy to finish it up.
A really good game, but what would make it a great game is the option to sell unwanted ships and weapons, also the ability to filter weapons and ships by class, by cost, by damage etc, and the option to buy weapons & ships x1, x10, x100, x1000
I love the idea and the game in general, but it very quickly becomes a slogfest unless you're willing to pay for it. The way the reset "currency" that carries over is calculated, each reset will net you smaller and smaller returns on every resource, and each run takes longer to get to the same point of your previous run. There are, of course, microtransactions to mitigate those effects. I have no problem with monetisation in free to play games when it's fairly done, but many features here seem to be purposely built around it.
followed the developer's advice and now the save works and the ghost items are gone
