About

Idle Knight is an idle RPG where your character progresses as you use your PC.
Every interaction matters, mouse clicks, keyboard inputs, controller actions.
As long as you're using your computer, your knight is gaining XP.
The game runs in the background and is designed to fit naturally into your daily routine.
The concept is simple:
You don’t actively grind the game.
You progress by simply using your computer.
At first, progression feels fast and rewarding.
Over time, it slows down significantly.
At that point, the game shifts from passive growth to decision-making and optimization.
Each input generates XP.
Leveling up gives you stat points that define your character:
- HP : your health and survivability
- DMG : your damage output
- AGI : determines evasion and action speed
Your build directly affects how efficiently you progress and how well you perform in combat.
There is no single correct build.
You can focus on raw damage, survivability, or agility-based scaling.
However, as difficulty increases, inefficient builds will slow your progress.
This is where experimentation and optimization become important.
You are not locked into your decisions.

Special items, such as the Phoenix Feather, allow you to reset your stats while keeping your level.
This lets you test different builds and adjust your strategy over time.

Dungeons are structured challenges where you choose which one to enter based on its recommended level.
Each dungeon has a difficulty rating, and selecting the right one is important for your progression.
Once inside, you must climb through multiple floors, defeating enemies along the way until you reach the final boss.
Beating the boss completes the dungeon and grants rewards.
Rewards scale depending on the dungeon difficulty and your performance.
Dungeons are designed to test your build in real conditions.
A weak build will struggle to progress through the floors.
A well-optimized build will clear dungeons efficiently and unlock better rewards.

The game features a ranked system with multiple tiers:
Farmer → Stable Boy → Infantryman → Knight → Royal Knight → Warlord
You have a limited number of ranked attempts per day.
Winning increases your rank.
Losing decreases it.
Rank progression depends heavily on your build quality, not just playtime.
Idle Knight supports two playstyles:
- Passive play: progress in the background while using your PC
- Active play: optimize builds and push ranked progression
Most players naturally combine both approaches.
Cosmetic items are available through gameplay or purchase.
They are purely visual and have no impact on gameplay or progression.
Idle Knight is free-to-play.
There is no pay-to-win system.
All gameplay-relevant systems can be unlocked through normal progression.
Because progression is based on real input detection, the game includes an anti-cheat system.
It detects:
- macros
- automated inputs
- unnatural input patterns
The goal is to ensure fair competition in ranked mode.
Idle Knight runs on a custom engine developed specifically for this game by me (VECR).
It is designed for:
- real-time input tracking
- stable background performance
- long-term incremental progression systems
Everything is built specifically for this type of gameplay.
Idle Knight is a long-term progression game.
Progress naturally slows down over time.
The game is designed around optimization, planning, and gradual improvement rather than fast completion.

I think it's too bare bones. Each click is 1 exp and there is no incremental aspect to leveling up. 2-4 keys are granted a day for a autobattling... leaving you again to do not much of anything. If you want to see any real progress, it isn't about "idle". It's about buying keys to battle for exp and collecting exp for hourly chests. Then duking it off for a slightly higher number. Level gaps are too big so climbing from say 10 -> 11 is reliant on these battles and chests. Clicks alone will get you nowhere. I've heard autoclickers are taboo among the idle community. I've personally only used it twice... But it's against the rules here and after ~5000 consecutive clicks you will be flagged. Third flag is a temp ban. The game is already so... nothing so using the clicker gave me a hint of dopamine to level up my damage by one point but after learning it's a no-no I got turned off from the experience.
Jednoduchý koncept, příjemný progres a přesně ten typ hry, kterou nemusíte neustále aktivně hrát, aby vás bavila. Postup v žebříčku je suprový, příjemný. V neposlední řadě musím zmínit starost developera a týmu, kteří jsou s komunitou neustále v kontaktu. Hru vřele doporučuji! <3 :)

It's a cool concept but not great if you use mouse macros in other games - I use a macro to repeat my left click while holding it down in dungeon looters but it's flagging the anti-cheat and if I have to choose one or the other I'd rather not be banned while actively playing other games. One warning was enough for me and it doesn't seem like their anti-cheat is programmed with too much complexity to differentiate. It was fun to have for things like typing practice but it looks like this little knight will no longer be joining me on my journeys. Only recommend if you do not use macros, even while playing actively.
