poo poo garbage.....👎👎💩💩
The game would be better for mobile. Movement with the arrow keys feels clumsy. Other keybindings cannot be changed either. The game's story and art style are good. The game reminds me of Flash games.
This is a tentative recommend: From what I've played at the time of writing, this seems like the kind of game that designed for you to fail upwards, think kinda Dark Souls-ish. You make it as far as you can, you die, and repeat until you learn where all the enemies path to and where you go to get the good loot. I have yet to find a gun, or any weapon, but I've found like 30 bullets in one run. The controls are unusual and the HUD looks like it's from a mobile game, but neither of these things make the game inherently bad. You get used to the controls and the HUD is almost acceptably wonky. My big issue with the HUD is that it doesn't look super obvious when it's trying to tell you something. Since the bottom three icons are always there, it makes it a little confusing. It's little things like when you crouch the arrow points one way and when you stand up it points the other way: IMO this would work better if the indicator only pops up on your screen while you're crouched. It's less confusing and less intrusive that way. Right now I could not tell you if the arrow pointing down means I'm crouched or not, I just spam pressed the button until I started walking fast again. The game seems like it could be good, but it's very difficult. I kinda like that. I need to play at least long enough to find a weapon before I update the review, but I really hope I keep finding more to like about this game. The screenshots (aside from the HUD, IMO) make the game look really cool, mainly because now I know how freaking hard it is to find the stuff in those screenshots.
