I 100% Observation Duty 1 to 4. Then I started 5, and it caused me to take a 3 year break from the series. I even did a lot of 6 rather than 5. 1 to 4 are the early games, I love the vibes, though 4 is the bridge between the early and modern games. 5 is the introduction to the modern games, it begins to focus more on horror than the silly stuff. Even so I've always found these games comforting. But 5's vibes are so off, the school map is okay, market map is nice, but metro is awful. And Bank, Apartment and House are just not for me, and I hate the new mode in them, just isn't for me either. Genuinely the worst Observation Duty game in my opinion. I came back after 3 years to try it again, and just... yeah no. I'm moving on to the great improvement that is 6
Observation Duty 5 is yet another spot the difference game from Notovia. It's what I've come to expect from the series though I didn't enjoy this one as much as some of the others. Sticking with and attempting to expand the variety of the formula was a nice thing to see. How that wound up happening is what made this one just alright in my eyes. Not a ton has changed since 4. You report generally the same anomalies, the black and white style is still present, and the maps aren't that out there compared to what we've seen. What was done to remedy this and make 5 feel more unique was the addition of more maps and a secondary game mode. This second game mode adds roughly three extra cameras to keep an eye on and takes away the anomaly type reporting similar to the 3rd game. What makes this interesting is the addition of a penalty counter. 3 false reports in this game mode earns you an instant failure and keeps you from spamming room reports all night. I both enjoyed and didn't enjoy this change as I felt it shifted the gameplay too much. On one hand, changing my strategy for noticing anomalies was fun and kept me on my toes. On the other hand, you can't spend too long familiarizing yourself with each camera or else anomalies might spawn before you're done. The lack of specific reporting also made me feel less connected to the maps. Not really having to care about what I was looking for made the nights feel duller. That and this game mode seems to have fewer anomalies on average which adds to that dullness. I enjoyed it the more I played the first map, but enjoyed it less the more maps I played. Anomaly spawn rates in this game feel more aggressive which is both good and bad. Good because you really have to pay attention and cycle cams frequently. Bad because the game spawned 3 anomalies back to back in around a minute. I failed that attempt because a fourth spawned while I was in the process of waiting on a report to clear. The game not waiting for the active report to clear before failing me was not that enjoyable. It didn't feel very fair considering I was properly cycling the cameras and the game didn't give me adequate time to fix them. Aside from that the reporting UI is a bit messy and some light anomalies completely make the UI unreadable. There's also a hefty amount of gen-AI use here. I don't care for it and am against gen-AI, though this came out before most of the issues with AI were presently known or widespread. Not an excuse, just something to think about before you tear the dev apart for it. This entry is not a bad one by far, but it's also not exactly a huge leap forward for the series. More practice for Notovia and a test to see what does and doesn't work going forward. If you liked OD4 or are playing the series like me, then definitely give this one a shot!
the dark souls of hidden object games
its very fun!! i used to cast this game to the tv and play with friends. i highly recommend
Пять Интрудеров С Ночью (ВЫШЛО НА АНДРОЙД)
Muy entretenido y algún que otro susto.
loved it so much! made me shiver in me timbers! brrrrrr
Отличное продолжение серии, но новичкам будет сложновато начинать с этой части, она реально сложная Цена выше обычного, но тут 6 локаций, что в 2 раза больше предыдущей части, так что можно взять даже без скидки
Another great game in the Observation Duty series.
More of the same, and that's exactly what I love! I remember this being where the difficulty started to increase as well, since as the fifth entry in the franchise the playerbase should be all too familiar with how this works by now. Well done!
