Decent little walking sim. The social media stuff is a bit annoying though imho.
Pretty environment and interesting little mechanics are overshadowed by a weird and bad plot. Thought it was going to be an eerie mystery exploration game like Gone Home, turned into a
cartoony horror where the monster is actually real (which is almost always just not fun)
Also runs really poorly for a Unity game. I hit 120+fps looking out onto the lake which drops down to ~20 when looking at anything else (may be a Linux issue)
I thought this was one of those indie games where it's a metaphor for depression or something. Instead,
I ransacked my friend's house before punching out a mythical sea creature.
A whimsical and humorous little game I'm happy I bought. The social media aspect adds a fun element to the walking simulator and light puzzles. Pros: -immersive Nordic setting -cute art -social media interaction gives a unique dimension to your explorations -take beautiful pictures -learn about Finnish culture -
punch out a mythical sea creature
Cons -less than an hour gameplay, but I played through twice for the alternate endings

Pretty scenery and nice story with mysterious elements.
Loved the design of Näkki and I did not expect the punch at all, that was a nice humorous touch I think haha
Thanks to Inkakamu for this Nordic experience <3
The game felt like a creative approach to your typical walking simulator. The story is told in the usual ways, but there's an added social media/texting aspect that makes it feel less lonely to wander around. I really liked the elegant simplicity of the graphics as well. The color scheme is great and the locations feel well-designed, which is always a treat. My gripe would be that it wasn't always clear what I was supposed to do next, so I found myself wandering around quite a bit. That's usually okay with me, but there's no way to run in the game, so that made it a bit more tedious than it needed to be. If you're looking for a short little mystery game, I think it's worth a try!
Good short game, nice to see mölkky in a game, kinda wished I could play it. Nice story, gets bit annoying when people comment on every post, makes me glad I'm not an instagram influencer. Still, fun game to play when you want play a quick game
What a great little mystery game. Makes me long for the days I spent living in Finland. It's amazing how such a small scene with simple visuals can grab your attention and keep you hooked and entertained for a good hour or two. Very recommended as a way to spend your evening.
An okay enough short mystery game. Not anything scary or thrilling but it is fairly short and I did like it enough to give it a thumbs up. Just don't expect too much (among them the ending).
I would've never guessed so, but this game really benefitted from a second playthrough. While my first one was pretty frustrating or confusing at times, having to guess where to go with that achingly slow walking speed, finding many of my "own" in-game posts unbelievable or stupid and getting annoyed by the fact that my followers wouldn't comment on the magpie with the key in its mouth even if it's very clearly sitting in the background of my photograph etc.; in my second one I had to get the achievement for oversharing anyway, so I went full toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mode, only liked and posted the most anti-stuff and finally understood, what this game really is and when it works best: As a smaller, cuter "The Beginner's Guide". The writing can be underwhelming either way, I wish there was a little more attention to detail and reactions to the relevance or order of my posts, most of my followers seem to be on the lower end of brain activity and while I appreciated the general design, especially the one of the main mystery was a bit too childish or cutesy for my taste. But with a low price like this, some pretty funny moments, an unexpectedly scary little moment that really got me good, convincing sound design (if badly mixed at times) and an unusual, interesting subject matter at hand in both levels of the script, I can still wholeheartedly recommend this unexpectedly thoughtful, realxing and cute yet genuinely mature little adventure. (7.5(+)/10)
I hope she's ok Positives: + Well made + Nice retro graphics + Exploration + Interesting story + Nordic + The choices + Two possible endings Negatives: - Slow walking speed - Low FOV - The phone sounds are a bit annoying - Not the best music - A lof of invisible walls - You cant explore wherever you want - Very short (about 45 min) Total Score: 7.5/10
