Finally, a game that captures the entirely normal human desire to indulge in a light spot of culinary art vandalism. The humour in this game is zany and and fun, the music and visuals are great, the puzzles and hints are engaging, the cats are fluffy, and the paintings are delicious.

I Eat Paintings When Guards Aren't Looking is a point and click hidden object/puzzle game where you play as a man eager to satisfy curious cravings for concepts only paintings can provide. The game progresses through different famous paintings and you are given a vague hint/description of an item your guy would like to eat. You must figure out what items in the painting he wants and locate then click for him to eat them up. There is a mini-game where you bounce pieces of paintings on a fork across his stomach so he may digest them. I really enjoyed the inclusion of [strike]hidden cats[/strike] meowing hidden objects in each of the levels! All of the cats have names and I will always find that so so cute. I was also able to see paintings I had not seen before so I think this game is ironically valuable as an educational/historical exposure game as well. I would recommend. Give I Eat Paintings When Guards Aren't Looking a try! Satisfy your desire to finally taste what the Garden of Earthly Delights has to offer!

This is a really wonderful hidden object game where you're given hints about the objects using descriptions, wordplay, and puns. The two different hint options add a nice challenge to narrow things down, since they're often helpful without giving an exact location, especially in later stages where you can have both the quadrant where the item is located and what the item looks like, and there's so much going on you're still really hunting it down. It's a great time to pass a rainy evening so you can learn a little bit of history and live your wildest dreams of eating sections of paintings! I received a content creator key for this one and had a really great time!!

This game is short and simple, with a lot of detail and fun things to find! I like being able to zoom in and see the paintings up close, especially the last one. I wish there were more paintings to view/eat, but overall I think this game is quite entertaining. If you like art and whimsy, I say to definitely pick this one up!
