The brief was simple. I commissioned artists to create a fantasy world, and hide as many butterflies and flowers as they can inside it. Now it’s your job to find them all! With 15 art pieces to choose from, and 1500+ hidden objects, you will have a lot of searching to do.
Use your mouse to move around the image and zoom in / out. When you find a hidden object, click it and it will disappear. You can also use WASD to move and the arrow keys to zoom.
All levels start unlocked, your progress is saved as you play, and you can use hints if you get stuck.
Each painting has its own music to help you connect with the world, as you search for everything.
You can restore a small number of hidden objects back into a painting so you can find them again! It’s much harder when there are only a few hidden objects left (especially randomly). You can also use up to 3 save slots so you can replay without progress loss. Alternatively, you can reset your progress for the entire game if you’d like to start over.

An all around fun and relaxing game with lovely scenery..
Note: A totally awesome friend gifted me a copy of this game. ^^
Where are the butterflies (and flowers)? XD

Introduction
I commissioned some butterflies 5 is a cozy, relaxing hidden object game developed by Follow the fun and published by I commissioned some series. It is the fifth game in the I commissioned some butterflies series, but this is the first game that I played. The objective is simple. There are a total of 15 backgrounds, each of which has a set number of butterflies and flowers hidden all over. After choosing a background, you search for the item and click your left mouse button when you find it. You can zoom in and out of the scene by scrolling your mouse wheel, and if you get stuck on finding an object, pressing the H button shows an arrow to give you a hint as to the item's location. There's a lovely, various music track as well as plenty of Steam achievements although achievements won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "profile features limited".
Review
I've only had a chance to play a couple of HOGs by I commissioned some series although I would like to have a chance to play and review them all someday. ^^ Thanks to a wonderful friend, I had the chance to play the latest game in the I commissioned some butterflies series and give my thoughts. First, I like that many different backgrounds are present, so you can choose where to start. I tend to go in order, so I started with the little ice cream stall and ended with robot cooking. In regards to gameplay, I found it pretty doable to find all of the butterflies and flowers. They have different appearances, so you're not stuck looking at identical objects. However, they can appear quite small, so if you have trouble finding the items, zooming in definitely helps. Also, I like that there's an unlimited use of the hint function. Of course, it's best to try to find as many butterflies and flowers first, but the hint function helps if you're stuck on finding those last few items. In addition, all Steam achievements unlocked without any problems. As for the art, it is totally gorgeous, with the lovely, unique hand drawn style accompanied by the appropriate use of colors. The colors never feel overly bright, and I like that there's a good variety of backgrounds. Also, there's just enough detail in the drawings while at the same time, they have this soft, creative feeling. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3460245137 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3460245229 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3460245325 In regards to the music, this is actually my favorite aspect of this game. Of course, the tracks accompany the backgrounds that they're placed in. However, they also feel perfect and relaxing. Whether you're in the hustle of the busy city or relaxing at the farm in the countryside, the tracks feel like you're actually at those places.
Conclusion
Would I recommend I commissioned some butterflies 5? If you're looking for a relaxing hidden object game, want to play one that is different from the cat-themed ones (although I do enjoy them, too ^^), and/or want to get all those Steam achievements, it's worth taking a look. At the asking price, it might be a bit pricey, as it took me about 2 hours to complete all of the backgrounds and obtain all of the achievements. On a sale, though, it's worth considering, and it's in a few Steam bundles, too. ^^
For more detailed, fully complete, high quality reviews like this, please follow The Introverted Gamer, prioritizing heart and soul always. ^^
