Hyper Shapes

Hyper Shapes is a boss rush based on simple form graphics, defeat all 10 boss as a square and you’re ball weapon. Graphics (6,5 / 10) : The graphics are basic, based on simple form, but work well and help to fast comprehension boss patern. Gameplay (8 / 10) : The gameplay is great, but also pretty hard, because of “ 1 hit = you die “ You’re square character have a weapon ball that you have to use and aim for boss weakness. Each boss are pretty short (around 1-2 min long), and each boss have his own patern, a pure die and retry when you have to know the boss patern for beat it. 10 differents boss, and a couple of challenge for some boss available for additionnal steam achievements. The game is also better on a controller (gamepad), but not required. Price (6 / 10) : The game cost 5 euros, 10 differents boss and some optionnal challenge for steam achievements. The game take around 2-3 hours for complexion. The price is ok but a little too high for the current content in my opinion. Story/Music/Optimization (5 / 10) : No story, and almost no text in the game. The music is minimalist, but ok, the music fill well the gameplay, with sound indication for some boss attack. Don’t have any freeze or fps drop (played on a i5, 2Go VRAM and 8Go RAM), can run on pretty much computer imo. Lack of some option in the game (no resolution / graphics option) Final Note (6.4 / 10) : Hyper Shapes is a short boss rush based on really simple gameplay and graphics, but efficient gameplay with great control and good boss patern. Un juego que logra destacar por su combinación de gráficos atractivos, jugabilidad sencilla pero desafiante, y una progresión de niveles bien pensada. Es una opción excelente para aquellos que buscan un juego casual pero emocionante para disfrutar en cualquier momento. Muy recomendado!
