an enjoyable game
Clearly made on a budget, it is an intriguing playable tech demo. Water physics can be entertaining, and the overall set of mechanics implemented here is pretty complete for its time, but at this point they probably won't impress. The game being set on a massive cruise ship is interesting, but most levels consist of bland corridors below the main deck. Apart from the swimming sections, there's some very basic climbing, and a stick-to-cover button with the ability to round corners while remaining in cover. Several types of ammo change the pistol's firing mode; these are: infinite single shot, inaccurate full-auto, remotely detonated explosive pellet, accurate semi-auto, and shocking pellet. Pretty much right before the end credits the player character acquires limited water control powers, but they are awkward to use. Players can play with the powers and the rest of the arsenal a bit more against five waves of enemies in the challenge room, unlocked after beating the game. There are also collectibles to find, and they can be found through playing levels separately through the level selection menu. Enemy intelligence is rudimentary. During underwater encounters they swim to close the distance and keep shooting while treading water. On land some waiting might be necessary for them to pop their heads out of cover. Near the end there is a somewhat problematic jump towards a ledge, which often results in failure. Some say limiting the game to 60 FPS helps with that. The final boss and its summoned baddies outright refused to attack and stood completely still while taking damage, making the pretty anticlimactic ending even more lacklustre. Regrettably, this project could have been so much more, had the developers the time and funding.

Aqua adventure and action very nice.
impressive physics But way to short an unpolished Can be finished in 3 hours
A mid third-person action game. Nice tech-demo for the water vibes it's going for, but not much else there. Was enjoying this game, up until the third act where you have to fight through a open-air shopping center. The game forces you into a climbing section, where the on-screen prompt simply results in your character falling to their death. Unless the game introduced a new "grab ledge" mechanic in the final stretch of the game, I'm at a loss. After four to five attempts of lining myself up with a vent, and jumping to just not grab anything, I decided this game wasn't worth the journey to the credits. Worth checking out for the price.
