Hunt for Junk is a retro Platformer that follows the graphical limitations of the classic Gameboy (e.g. 4 colors and a 160x144px resolution). Journey the world in your unending pursuit of delicious Junkfood! Avoid traps, fight enemies, collect coins and discover all of the hidden Junkfood items!

shot but sweet and cute plataform game i really love it :3

game is ok, retro styled platformer, what can be wrong with it? well, you can`t get 100% "Lord of Junkfood" is bugged
Hunt for Junk is a fantastic retro platformer that captures the classic Gameboy aesthetic. Despite its short length, it offers challenging gameplay and hidden secrets to discover. The graphics and sound design are beautifully crafted, and the developer's passion for delivering high-quality games is evident in every aspect. If you're a fan of retro games or looking for a fun, engaging experience, Hunt for Junk is definitely worth a play! But perhaps what impressed me most about Hunt for Junk is the passion and dedication of its developer. Having met them personally, I can attest to their deep love for gaming and their commitment to delivering high-quality, fun experiences to their players. This dedication shines through in every aspect of Hunt for Junk, making it a true gem in the indie gaming scene.
The description says the game is in 160x144. No it's not. The sprites may be sized that way, but I can see the extremely smooth movement, and in some cases, i'd be floating 1 pixel above the ground, so yeah. I noticed that was a lie. Other than that graphical gripe, there are polish issues, like the overworld character moving really slowly, there only being one level music save for the final level's 2, and not being able to fight the boss after already having beaten the game (though that's more of a nitpick). Despite this, for a game as cheap as free, it's a nice little thing to play, and try for all the achievements. Some o the level design is pretty clever for how simplistic it is, and it was a nice hour of my life playing it the first time through. (Another nitpick, the cutscene before the boss shows him inhaling the junk food before the fight, yet he has no inhale attack during the fight. It's something I was expecting to get hit by, and it dang-near forced a reset on me because he has a roar that pushes you out of the ring, instead.)
