About
Use real-world hacking tools and methodology to break into target systems. Crack passwords, exploit vulnerabilities, navigate remote file systems, and move laterally through defended networks - all from your terminal.
Use tools and techniques like ssh-crack, SQL injecton, stack overflow, mimidogz, DNS redirector, metaexploits, memory reader, and others to gain unauthorized access to other devices.

Work with a fully simulated operating system. Manage multiple terminal tabs and sessions. Tile your windows or work in virtual desktops. Browse websites for intel, read emails, monitor social media, check stock markets, and visualize target networks - all within a customizable desktop with adjustable transparency, UI scaling and wallpapers.
Enjoy the dynamically generated world, NPCs, and missions. The generated networks are unique, so keep yourself challenged.
Different websites, different exploits - all of this means your tactics may differ from session to session.
The networks contain separate subnets to challenge you, requiring lateral movement mastery.
Your actions have consequences. Manipulate the stock market. Hack into bank accounts. Dig through social media for intel. Build a white-hat reputation by helping NPCs - or exploit them for profit. The choice is yours.
Hacking is hard. Even in its simplified form, as in this game, the steps required to successfully break through can be overwhelming.
The initial in-game tour, the first tutorial mission, the app guide, the in-game wiki page - all of those are prepared to help you advance through the complexity.
Moreover, you can always count on Hackopilot - a tool designed specifically for HTHI Hackers to aid when it is needed.
Carefully manage the available resources, like money, CPU, or RAM.
Upgrade hardware to allow the execution of more parallel operations.
Purchase better wifi to speed up connections and over-the-network operations.

Very fun so far!
great game
Je pensais que le jeu serait a minima aussi bon que HackNet : grosse déception. Je déconseille fortement.
Genuinely the best blend of immersion and fun in a hacking game I've played in a while; even if it is still early in development I'd say it's worth picking up to see how it grows
Gameplay is not smooth. terminal works like ♥♥♥♥. over priced at the moment
I'd say the game is okay. the problem of now is terminal in the game does not behaves like a real terms we use. What I'm saying is as a real programmer wishes this game to acts more real for what we can do in the terminals. however, thumbs up to the game.
Evaluation in 0.3.2 - May update later The game has quirks, it's still quite early in development, but it's good. I like that it is pretty focused in what it asks of you, but when you get to higher levels the puzzles are legitimately interesting, and because it's more focused than other games of the same genre it doesn't need to guide you as much so you don't feel like you're just doing what the game tells you to do. As a pentester, I use it to give my partner an idea of what my job involves, especially regarding how you have to think about things to get to what you want. The game currently has bugs, but I think it's still worth the price and expect it to only get better as things get smoothed out and more content is added.
Very fun, great game! nice lab for linux command-line simulation, tool help and tinkering, scripting, and puzzle-solving. not yet: subnetting, social engineering, 3d world, inbound hacks not completely realistic in the sense that tools aren't named the same and some steps are done for you, so you wont learn completely how to use your favorite flavor of debian, but its a really fun game and nice practice lab for linux regardless.
I fully support small devs sticking their neck out there big respect! While this is for sure an early access game I do like the flow it's currently going through, I also play Grey Hack so i decided to support the dev and also test how it stacks against other games I play in the hacker/programmer series. Here's my full review :) https://www.youtube.com/live/4rueqQxROO0 Keep going tho! so much potential! For the price tho consider lowering it, the price point really does kill the partial functionality of the system your building
