Reviews
items drop through the floor sometimes, the game crashes near the military camp a lot and I get about 24fps on a 3080. 8.5/10
User interface is rough. Picking up items you have to aim at it just right. No tutorial info. Too many things you can't interact with. Regular airplane supply drops occur, but only land outside the map, teasing the player. No skills or character development. No story either. This game feels like a "my first game" learning project for a budding dev. I feel like I'd play it for a nephew to edify and encourage them, but it's too rough and rudimentary to invest any more playtime into. I might play a little more because I was able to get all but 3 achievements in the 1.3 hours I explored this game... might as well get the rest at this point. Value? Well, it was a little over 2 US dollars, so It's an OK value. If this was developed more I think I could really like it. I'll watch for game updates and see what comes. This is a Day 1 review on the release date. Edit: PERFORMANCE - Terrible. I have a Radeon 7900 XTX with 24GB (roughly on par with GeForce 4080). My CPU is a Ryzen 5800X. I have 32GB of RAM. This game is so simple graphics-wise, yet FPS was in the 20s until I turned off motion blur. Doing that made it jump into the mid 50s. Other games like this give me ~300 FPS! My game settings: maxed except motion blur turned off, but had to choose 1920x1080 windowed despite my monitor being 3440x1440 ultrawide. Why? Because the next available resolution was 3840x2160 (exceeded my monitor) and this game doesn't support 21:9 screen ratios - everything gets stretched on fullscreen mode. This game only gives 4 resolution choices with nothing inbetween 1080p and 4k, and no ultrawide support. TL:DR - clunky game UI, lack of content, potato graphics but game runs like crap (not optimized), severe lack of resolution choices, no ultrawide monitor support.
Sorry for the bad review but i just don't know if i like this or not since i have not played this a lot for decide, i know that the developer was making another project while making this game (RC Overdrive) but this game really feels like "my first game" but for now i just don't like it, but i will play it a little bit more and i will see if it change my mind.
Hour of Survival: Zombie Craft hat permanente Nachladeruckler.
