Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Hotel Owner Simulator is a business and life-simulation title that aims to capture the full scope of what it means to run a hotel from the ground up, blending creative freedom with hands-on operational management. Developed by Valmere Games and published by PlayWay S.A., the game positions the player not as a distant executive, but as an actively involved owner who must juggle design decisions, financial planning, guest satisfaction, and day-to-day maintenance. From the outset, the experience emphasizes gradual growth, starting with a small, underwhelming property that slowly transforms through careful investment and smart decision-making. One of the game’s strongest aspects is its approach to hotel design and customization. Rather than relying on rigid room templates, players are given tools to shape interiors with a surprising level of flexibility. Walls can be adjusted, rooms resized, and furniture placed individually, allowing each hotel to feel personal and tailored rather than generic. Decorative choices are not merely cosmetic; they influence guest impressions and satisfaction, encouraging thoughtful layouts and coherent aesthetics. This focus on customization gives the simulation a creative edge, making the act of designing rooms feel just as important as managing finances. The management side of the experience is grounded in practical concerns that mirror real-world hospitality challenges. Pricing rooms, responding to guest expectations, and maintaining cleanliness are central to success. Guests react to factors such as room quality, amenities, and overall comfort, and poor upkeep quickly leads to negative reviews and declining income. Tasks like cleaning rooms, changing linens, and managing waste are integrated into the gameplay loop, reinforcing the idea that hotel ownership involves constant attention to detail. While these chores can become repetitive over time, they also contribute to the game’s sense of realism and responsibility. As profits begin to accumulate, the game opens up broader strategic choices. Earnings can be reinvested into better furnishings, expanded facilities, or additional properties, allowing players to scale their operations and experiment with different hotel styles. Growth is not automatic or effortless; each upgrade carries financial risk, and mismanagement can stall progress or even push the business into decline. This creates a steady tension between ambition and caution, encouraging players to plan carefully rather than rushing expansion. The pacing of Hotel Owner Simulator is deliberately measured, favoring long-term planning over immediate rewards. This slow burn aligns well with the management simulation genre, but it also means the experience may feel demanding for players who prefer faster feedback loops. Progress is incremental, and success often comes from refining systems rather than unlocking dramatic new mechanics. For fans of methodical simulators, this pacing reinforces immersion, while others may find it tests their patience during longer sessions. Visually, the game opts for a clean, functional presentation that prioritizes clarity over spectacle. Environments are easy to read, which is important when managing multiple rooms and systems simultaneously. The interface is generally intuitive, though it can feel dense at first due to the number of mechanics introduced early on. Audio design remains understated, providing ambient background sounds that support immersion without drawing attention away from management tasks. Despite its depth, the game is not without rough edges. Some systems feel underdeveloped, and occasional bugs or interface quirks can disrupt the flow of play. Certain mechanics, particularly early on, could benefit from clearer tutorials or guidance, as new players may feel overwhelmed by the number of responsibilities placed on them. Repetition can also set in once the core loop is fully understood, especially for those who focus heavily on manual tasks rather than automation and expansion. Overall, Hotel Owner Simulator delivers a detailed and grounded take on hospitality management that rewards patience, creativity, and careful planning. Its emphasis on hands-on involvement and customization gives it a strong identity within the simulation genre, even if some elements lack polish. For players who enjoy building businesses piece by piece and appreciate simulations that reflect the realities of ownership rather than idealized success, it offers a substantial and engaging experience with plenty of room to grow. Hotel Owner Simulator is a chill, satisfying management game where you build, upgrade, and run your own hotel. You handle everything—from cleaning rooms to decorating and expanding—which makes it feel hands-on and cozy. The gameplay loop is simple but addictive, though some tasks can get repetitive. Still, it’s a fun pick if you enjoy relaxing tycoon vibes. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Çok başarılı , özellikle temizlikçinin şarkıları :D
can't play the game without it crashing, and it doesnt have auto save so you lose all your progress if you dont manually save.
DO NOT BUY. This has not been updated and is a dead game.
Ich finde es toll, wie man Individuell Zimmer gestallten kann. Am ersten Abend habe ich schon 5 Std. gespielt, viel versprechend.
I like this game and i want to give it 5 stars but no, i don't want to do this because in free mode is a garbage. 5 times i try to build a room and every time the game crashed after i put some walls and floor.
Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series. My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I enter the Hospitality Industry with Hotel Owner Simulator. This game was developed by Erik Games and is published by Playway SA, one of the best publishers for Simulation Games. I've reviewed several of their other games including WW2 Rebuilder, Farmers Life and Mr Prepper Hotel Owner Simulator challenges players to opportunity to manage their own Hotel, unleashing their interior design skills to plan and create each room and managing the everyday management of the hotel, booking rooms, cooking food and keeping your guests happy. Successful management will result in higher profits and a better rating for your hotel, allowing you to hire additional staff to handle your customers needs, allowing you to invest in bigger and better hotels to expand your empire. Unscrupulous players can also make additional revenue by stealing utilities, or catering to a less than legal clientele, but beware the ever watchful eye of the law. Hotel Owner Simulator excels in its Interior Design, giving players a huge amount of creative options in planning and designing rooms from the ground up, allowing skilled designers to create some truly breathtaking creations. There is an impressive selection of hotels to purchase and renovate, unlocking high end services like pools and casinos for the ultimate profit. Please note: All opinions in this video are my own.
