10/10 GAME! Being chased by twig person was super intense, with no way to attack back you were at their mercy. The voice acting is top tier, definitely not an ai voiceover at all, could hear the raw emotion! The lore within this masterpiece was immaculate, and if you enjoy reading, oh boy, you're in for a treat. The ending, I think it was the ending, was not underwhelming in any way shape or form, it was in fact the perfect closure that I needed. Compared with their other games this is for sure one of their best! PS. The buzzing sound throughout was like a warm sunny day at the beach <3

Hotel in the Dark ist kein Spiel – es ist eine Warnung. Schon nach fünf Minuten wusste ich: Hier hat jemand Programmieren mit Augen zu und Handschuhen gelernt. Die Grafik sieht aus, als hätte ein Toaster sie gerendert, die Steuerung fühlt sich an, als würde man versuchen, einen Einkaufswagen auf Glatteis zu lenken, und der Sound… naja, ich hab schon kaputte Staubsauger gehört, die atmosphärischer klangen. Die Story wirkt, als hätte jemand beim Schreiben vergessen, worum es eigentlich geht – und das merkt man. Es ist dunkel, langweilig, und das Einzige, was hier wirklich gruselig ist, ist die Tatsache, dass jemand dachte, das sei fertig. Ich hab selten ein Spiel erlebt, das mich so schnell bereuen ließ, überhaupt neugierig gewesen zu sein. Wenn Langeweile und Chaos ein Kind hätten, würde es Hotel in the Dark heißen.
