About
Explore outer space with your word-finding skills.
You are dealt a handful of letters and must make words on an empty grid. Letters replenish with oxygen after you use them, and so you have to make new words, to find new oxygen. The grid might not be empty anymore but don't fret, it is as boundless as the universe itself. Oxygen on the other hand...
In Mission mode, set your own difficulty with 28 unique modifiers and try to beat the game by mining up resources.
In Journey mode, set out to explore the galaxy. Stop at various space stations to acquire and upgrade items to help you along on your wordy journey. Stretch your web of words as far as possible and discover as many planets as you can.
Plays entirely with the mouse. A run may last for a couple of hours. Features a save system.

This is a fun, chill, word puzzle game with a score mode (mission) and an endless mode (journey). Very little is explained up front so be prepared to blow some runs experimenting, but most things are somewhat self-explanatory. One cool feature is the ability to add other languages during a run by acquiring that language's dictionary to increase the number of valid words to play. I've played more than a little bit on Steam Deck and can confirm that it works pretty well. I do have a couple gripes about the UI (especially when playing on Steam Deck) in that it's very easy to click the "Give Up" button by accident if your cursor is near the bottom of the screen because you're dragging around to see more of the map. It also isn't immediately clear what that button does. It exits you to the menu, but your run is still saved and you can return to it at any time to try to salvage it. I was a bit perplexed by this but I think it makes some sense in the context of it being a chill game that you can chip away at.
Mind-shattering, precisely what i needed

The most polished and fun scrabble game on steam, and it's a single player rogue like... typical.
A very neat little Scrabble-inspired space adventure. Rife with authors from throughout modern history, multiple languages, and interesting mechanics, I highly recommend.
Really really fun scrabble-type game. Strongly recommended if this is your jam. Just be aware- you're thrown into the game and there don't seem to be any explanations or instructions. I've figured it out by trial and error.
really good. played it so much the game started to break because the map was so filled out. OOD. good stuff most def
Almost never ending game of space scrabble? Yes please. This is a well made game at a fine price. scratches the scrabble itch rather well. And it saves your game automatically , so you can return and continue your space adventure with words. The wider your vocabulary , the more you will enjoy this game . I like the bonuses you can find with the longevity of a game session being in your hands and with your choices.
Another great game from puncake! Two modes with great replayability and surprising depth. I'm a big fan of word games and the added exploration and the fascinating "writers" mechanic will have me coming back. It also is totally functional on my steamdeck which is a great platform for this type of chill game. Try it out and support great developers !
