Hope Lake

I can not in good conscience recommend this game, unless they update it with a proper translation. The hidden object games are near impossible to finish without hints or just clicking on everything due to at least one or two objects being mistranslated in every scene. Sure, with time you learn that wrench and key apparently is the same word in whatever this was translated from, but it is annoying and makes the game less fun. Also, the minigames are so easy they are not even fun, and even then, there are extra indications as to what exactly you are to do, with highlights almost doing the thinking for you. The story itself isn't too bad, but it is pretty much ruined by the horrible translation errors in the HOS.

The game is pretty simple but I still had a great time!

Kicked the water, barn popped out of bubbles. Built a bridge, fell, turned into frog, wife digs it. Now nightly croon country quacks. Eight lilypads out of ten, dive in smiling!

An awful H/O game with nothing new to bring to the table. It would be a decent game if not for the boring story, strange game flow or its frustrating labelling of items. Keys and wrenches are swapped for some reason, other items are referred to vaguely and more "technically correct" but not helpful to the player at all. The art is forgettable in its entirety except for the final cutscene witch if not for the release date i would have assumed to be AI "art" with how it rapidly changes in style and consistency. In all i would advise against and to purchase something else.

Well, it's 2026, and apparently the only fix for a game-breaking bug reported TEN FREAKIN' YEARS AGO, hours into the game, is to restart the entire game from the start. So yeah, don't buy it unless you enjoy frustration and rage. What an absolute waste of time. Bug = there's a chest that has two locks. You put in the keys, aaand then you can't select it to open it, because the place where you click to back out of that area apparently overlays that same place. Changing the cursor to 'system cursor' didn't fix it, and I'll be fkd sideways before I start a game again from the start because a developer can't be bothered to fix a bug that was reported ten years ago.

Jedna z těch klasických hidden object her s detektivní zápletkou, kde musíte najít v hromadě haraburdí krokodýla, koláček, starou botu, motýla, korkový špunt, skleněnku, minci pro štěstí.... To je jasné, bez toho byste vyřešit záhadu a dopadnout pachatele nemohli. Jistě v nějakém paralelním vesmíru je to běžný vyučovací předmět na škole kriminalistiky. Příběh sám o sobě není tolik fascinující, nebo abych spíše řekl, není ničem výjimečný. Ovladatelnost hry lehce horší, nebo méně pohodlná oproti jiným podobným hrám ze stejného soudku... Ale co mě vcelku nebavilo? Zbytečně zdlouhavé, trochu nelogické (ale tak to u těchto her až na miniquesty bývá) a hodně roztahané, co se týká mapy. Neustálé běhání sem a tam (chápu, že tvůrci chtěli vytěžit asi maximum z každé "místnosti", ale někdy je toho trochu moc). Ale i tak, je to prostě oddychovka na pár hodin, hra, kterou se musíte proklikat. Buď ji skousnete, nebo ne.

Great atmosphere, lots of locations to explore and plenty of puzzles to solve. Chasing a mysterious kidnapper though an abandoned boarding school next to a lake is always a good setting. I also really liked the music and sound effects, they added to the creepy vibe without taking you out of the game. My only complaint is that some translations in the hidden object games are rough, but thankfully hints refresh after a minute or two in case you get stuck. The rest of the dialogue/text/journals do not have any translation issues, it was only a few spots in the minigames.

Nice little time waster

Процесс у игры классический, загадки не сложные в большинстве. Визуал тоже пойдет, но сюжет мне не понравился. Спойлер: [spoiler] Пацан пошел мстить и т.п. ок это мы принимаем, но идиотизм по больше части в том, что его не пошли искать, когда он пропал. Если задумка в том, что он даже лечащему врачу не сдался то это жестко. [/spoiler] Если я чего те не понимаю разъясните, могла что-то пропустить по сюжету.
