If this oddly-specific request is your fantasy, then Homeward Duck has you covered. In all seriousness, though, it's a short and sweet little cosmic game where you do just that; pelt pieces of bread into the void to lead a family of ducks back to their home planet, while keeping the fox-alien enemies off of them; there are also black holes to avoid. There are three levels, each that just puts the ducks and home planet in different positions, and two game "modes"; regular and short, the latter, of course, is for kids. While Homeward Duck is about five minutes of entertainment for adults, kids will probably get a lot more enjoyment and time out of it. The visuals are simple but cool, and the soundtrack is pretty chill. Another decent free title for a family game night or to keep little ones occupied while you take care of stuff around the house. Oh, yeah, and the three-fingered alien hands are a great touch. [h1]Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers[/h1] So I know what you're thinking if you're reading this, is this free to play game worth the download? And, unfortunately, I'm going to have to equivocate. It depends. I think this is a neat game if you have a child & want a simple game for them to play in VR. This is a rather simple game where you lead ducks in space to their home planet via bread crumbs you manually leave in space. You lead them away from objects that might hurt them, like the black holes. You also swat away the aliens that are trying to shoot them. You do need at the very least 360 standing room. You probably need a bit more than standing room to make this game free from frustration (easier to reach & swat away the aliens & easier to lay down the bread crumbs). There are only 3 levels and the whole thing is over in about 5 minutes (assuming you did well). So if you enjoy simple, relaxing gameplay or have kids who might, this is worth the download. Super relaxing, kind of meditative even. Chill music, adorable visual style, and simple gameplay- a lighthearted quickie for fans of VR and a great / casual intro for the uninitiated!

Homeward Duck is a free VR game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You have a kids mode which is smaller, and a normal game which is larger. You are putting out breadcrumbs in space to lead the ducks back to Earth. Have to swat away Space Alien saucers. Try it, you might like it.

Love this game. It is simple in its design, and yet draws you in with the art and beautifully created environment. Doesn't try to do too much, nor too little.
