I kinda liked the game but the problem is that is kinda hard to find the anomaly because of how dark it is and there no settings to change the brightness but overall, a good game and hopefully they learn about this too. Good job Dev!

Home_0 is a compact psychological horror game developed and published by Mike Ten that proves an unsettling atmosphere can be more effective than constant action or elaborate scares. Built around a simple but clever concept, the game traps players inside a recurring nightmare where escaping depends entirely on their ability to notice subtle changes within a familiar environment. Rather than overwhelming players with enemies or complicated mechanics, it creates fear through uncertainty, observation, and the growing realization that even the smallest detail may determine whether progress continues or everything starts over. Its relatively short playtime keeps the pacing focused, delivering a complete horror experience that respects the player's time while maintaining tension from beginning to end. The core gameplay revolves around carefully studying each room for anomalies. Every successful loop requires players to determine whether the house has changed before deciding to leave or return to bed. This mechanic sounds straightforward at first, but it becomes increasingly demanding as more deceptive environmental changes begin appearing throughout the game. Objects may shift position, decorations might disappear, lighting can subtly change, or an otherwise ordinary room suddenly feels different without an immediately obvious explanation. Because making the wrong decision sends players back to the beginning, every observation carries weight, encouraging patience, concentration, and a sharp eye for detail. One of the game's greatest strengths is its ability to transform an ordinary house into a place of constant paranoia. Familiar surroundings gradually become uncomfortable as players begin questioning everything they see. After several loops, the environment itself becomes an unpredictable puzzle where confidence quickly turns into hesitation. The challenge comes not from surviving dangerous enemies but from trusting one's own memory, making each successful day feel genuinely rewarding. Surviving through all ten days before reaching the ending provides a satisfying sense of progression while steadily increasing the psychological pressure. Home_0 also benefits from its nostalgic visual presentation. Inspired by retro horror aesthetics, the game uses low-resolution visuals, VHS-style distortion, grainy filters, and subdued lighting to reinforce its unsettling tone. Instead of appearing outdated, these artistic choices strengthen the illusion that players are trapped inside an old, corrupted memory. The visual effects also blur the line between genuine anomalies and natural image distortion, forcing players to question what they actually saw. This uncertainty becomes one of the game's most effective horror elements, as fear is generated through doubt rather than spectacle. The narrative follows a similarly restrained philosophy. Instead of relying on lengthy dialogue or cinematic storytelling, the game gradually reveals its mystery through environmental clues and repeated exploration. The protagonist's journey through fragmented memories invites players to piece together the story themselves, creating a more personal experience that rewards curiosity. Multiple endings further encourage replayability, giving players additional reasons to revisit the game and uncover different outcomes while developing a clearer understanding of its psychological themes. Sound design complements every aspect of the experience remarkably well. Quiet ambient noises, distant sounds, and prolonged periods of silence combine to create a lingering sense of unease. Rather than using excessive jump scares, the audio keeps players tense because they are constantly anticipating that something may be different during the next loop. Every creak, subtle sound effect, or moment of silence contributes to the oppressive atmosphere without becoming intrusive or repetitive. Although Home_0 excels at building suspense, its specialized gameplay may not appeal to every horror fan. Players expecting combat, exploration across multiple locations, or traditional survival horror mechanics may find the experience somewhat limited. The game's intentionally repetitive structure serves its psychological themes effectively, but those looking for greater gameplay variety might feel the concept reaches its limits by the conclusion. Likewise, its brief runtime means the experience ends before its ideas evolve into something more expansive. Despite these limitations, Home_0 succeeds by remaining focused on what it wants to achieve. It delivers a memorable psychological horror experience built around observation, environmental storytelling, and persistent tension instead of relying on cheap scares or excessive complexity. Its minimalist design, atmospheric presentation, and satisfying anomaly-detection mechanics create an engaging experience that demonstrates how effective a simple concept can be when executed with confidence. Fans of slow-burning psychological horror and games that reward careful attention to detail will likely find this an enjoyable and unsettling experience. Rating: 7/10
♥ I quit the game it was so scary! xD ♥ Not sure of all the anomelies ♥ Will try to finish the game one time O:) ♥ Love the graphics, makes it more scary!
Mini spoilery Mam mieszane uczucia.
I found this game after playing through all games by Chilla's Art. And masterful as they are, this game made me feel something else entirely. Namely, pure dread. And it takes a master to make a horror game veteran feel unease whenever they launch a game. You, dear sir, are a brilliant game developer and I salute you :)
