Blue smurf-like men are strolling into your castle to steal all your Hodor. It's Free The teleport system to move to towers etc is different and quite effective. You can choose different arrows/bows. Blowing little blue men into the air with exploding arrows is strangely quite relaxing.

This game is free, so I'll try not to be harsh. It took more effort to get the controls right, like grabbing the arrow to pull back with the bow to shoot. This is a constant struggle because your watching wave after wave succeed not because you aren't a good archer, but because the controls are clumbsy. I own every VR game out there with bows and arrows and they were all intuitive, but thats not the case here. But its free so what can you do.

Hold the door! is a free Early Access VR bow and arrow shooter that has you shooting invaders Before they reach your castle doors. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played good, sounded ok. You have waves of invaders, some are more difficult to kill. You also have 2 other types of arrows, freeze and fire ball, that are of limited supply. You have a long range of fire. Try it if you like bow and arrow shooters.
Wow, this is such a fun and addictive little game, I love it. I am so surprised that this has mixed reviews, I just dont understand it. I discovered this about 3 days ago and played it about 2 days ago and I must have played for a full half hour straight. I really enjoyed the wonderful fun and cheerful environment, and I liked the cool cartoon men you have to shoot. I liked experimenting with the different type of arrows, but as a beginner i tended to mostly use the exploding arrows since you didnt need a direct body hit and it could take out more then one opponent at once. I think ive had more fun playing this game then the 20 or so other games i just purchased for my new Vive. I love the realistic feel of the draw of the bow, very similar to the bow game in The Lab. It was equally as much fun for me. I think i made it to wave 23 when i had to quit since i went out to diner with friends. I hope the devs keep developing this gem, Id like to support their efforts as soon as it goes from free to play to pay to play.
没有任何创新,玩过the lab完全不需要再玩这个

"Hold the door!" is an abandoned Early Access tech demo for a VR exclusive low poly arcade cover shooter (remember those? The game format that became obsolete back in the 1990s?). Gameplay consists of wearing a VR headset to see low poly graphics that would look bad in 2003 (several years after texture mapping was invented) and shooting a bow at blue blobs trying to get in your castle. If you can get the game to work properly. It was dumped on Steam and abandoned in an incomplete state a few months later, with no obvious plan for it ever to be completed. The low poly graphics are woeful, and don't even have textures. It's a buggy and mostly unplayable, with serious problems that will never be fixed. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes the game great is the VR, then the game isn't great at all. Imagine a game so bad that it was made VR exclusive, in the hopes that would prevent people playing it and comparing it to professionally developed games. While this is free, it's broken, incomplete, and of very low quality. This is more of a tech demo than a real game, and doesn't have any serious value for dedicated PC gamers or even VR enthusiasts. It's impossible to recommend.
