Alright Imma be frank here, the net code on this game is the jankiest i've seen, this game is not most polished. but if i am correct only one guys is working on it part time. don't get me wrong if you get some friends and play a 2v2 you are gonna have a great time. but be prepared to experience at least 15 bugs per game, but if u live trough it you are gonna have some fun.
Physics feel very good and intuitive. VERY impressed with this game, especially for the price. Goalie AI was improved recently, so devs seem active in continually improving. Highly recommend this game if you have VR. This quickly became one of my most-played VR games. Update: Devs again updated Goalie AI further, game is only getting better. The only issue is more people should be playing this. A growing community would do wonders for this game.
I'm eager to see where this goes, but I'm neutral overall. It is nearly impossible to play with inside-out tracking hardware. I played it on WMR Odyssey and the way you have to hold the stick puts one controller out of tracking view. I know this is a limitation of the hardware, not necessarily the software, but I've seen some ways to deal with it (Blades and Sorcery being one for long objects). It's definitely something to consider, especially with Quest coming out. Pushing the stick into the ground makes your hands slide down the stick, which is difficult if you're trying to puck handle. I always end up having the stick fling around when shooting this way because it was sort of spring loaded as I pushed too far into the ice, then it shoots back out to proper length as I move it forward. The stick was way too long for me (easy custom settings addition). I had a decently high frame rate but this still made me very nauseous. I ultimately will keep testing this out but at this stage I'm not planning on playing it.
horrible and abandoned
Lots of fun and TONS of potential. As time goes on the game will only get better. Id recommend getting in on the action now, and get good before it gets super popular
Hockey player is a great hockey game in VR that has a few kinks from being in early access. Developers have a discord where you can tell them bugs and request features. The game has a very nice community easily worth 5$
On the right track.... some suggestions: - allow changing graphics settings - allow setting height; my stick is way too long - another training mode for puck handling would be nice; e.g. with the cones available when waiting for a match - probably something for further down the line - but AI would be great to actually practice games when no one is online - and if AI is a possibility, then another training mode to practice passing and/or fast breaks would be awesome
Game sucks multiplayer is way too buggy to play and the movement system is horrible
this game is horrible and a complete waste of money and the advertisements are very misleading see the game mechanics are horrible and the people who made this game should be fired
I have to update my positive review to a negative one since development ended almost a year and a half ago before the game was anywhere close to being complete. It had a lot of potential, but there isn't enough here to call this a complete game. Controls are a bit of a mess and you can't accurately shoot the puck where you want to, and multiplayer is totally broken and not even worth trying. The only thing that sort of half works is the training mode which gets boring very fast. If you're looking for a fun VR hockey game, keep looking. This isn't it.
