Claims to have index support on the store page, but does not actually support the index knuckle controllers
No one is on multiplayer, there is no development so you can't even play against AI because they didn't develop it. All you can do is the tutorial
does not work with the index controllers. at all.
Alright, I wondered if there was an Ice hockey VR game that was multiplayer and for $6CAD I really cant be pissed with the result. Pros: -Clap some bombers home past the actually not too bad goalie AI considering what you are playing -Play against your buddy and celey harder than you ever have before while he looks at you and you look absolutely challenged because the tracking is pretty oof. -Overall just a funny, entertaining game. Cons: -Net code is brutal, you could go for a shot and the puck will teleport to the other players stick -The only 2 people I've ever seen playing are me and my buddy, so we cant play 2v2's (there should be AI to play against or something) -Trying to take a slapshot on the move or a wrist shot will either miss the puck completely because the "stick on the ice" tracking isnt fantastic, or it blow out of the map by going over, or literally THROUGH the boards in certain spots. -Stick tracking error I've noticed is ONLY the red team players stick cannot be accurately seen on the ice, if the player is holding the stick with both hands, once they hold it with one hand it is fine, but the blue teams stick tracking is absolutely fine on the opponents screen. HONESTLY theres probably more cons I'm not thinking of, but with these cons clearly in number outweighing the pros I've listed I remind you: THE GAME IS $6. You cant ask for much, and I'm still wildly entertained by this early access bundle of bugs and kinks, and I'm certain itll be a fantastic game when it is finished. 10/10 buy it (pls I need someone to dangle past with my bud)
Game definitely has potential. The Bad: Net Code is suuuuuper jank When your playing online the puck often times disappears entirely and fly's in a random direction. You also cannot see where your opponents stick is in real time making it difficult to figure out what he is trying to do Movement is quite clunky but it is VR so hey-ho Using the stick two handed (the correct way) is much less effective then using it one handed The good: Once you get the hang of it its really satisfying to fling the puck exactly where you want it, and you generally can put it where you want it once you get good enough The game just came out so these things are somewhat expected. Im not gonna refund and ill update my review if they fix the issues I have.
A little disappointed. Game looks great plays well, all the things I could want, movement is a little annoying but easy to get used to. Worst thing is lack of AI unless you have someone to play with you're basically stuck to the tutorial levels. Needs a single player mode to justify buying it. Until it does i'd wait unless you have a friend to play online with.
no ones ever online so no point because youll have no one to play with
Dead game rip
there are only few full sports experience games on VR and this is one of them. and it is really really cool game. this is not a short hockey experience. THIS IS THE VR HOCKEY WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!
Physics feel very good and intuitive. VERY impressed with this game, especially for the price. Goalie AI was improved recently, so devs seem active in continually improving. Highly recommend this game if you have VR. This quickly became one of my most-played VR games. Update: Devs again updated Goalie AI further, game is only getting better. The only issue is more people should be playing this. A growing community would do wonders for this game.
