I just can't get into it, It feels really messy and not beginner friendly- I genuinely don't know what anything does or what's going on. I know I have a small amount of playtime on this game, but most similar games I can figure out what's going on pretty easily. I don't think the premise is bad, it just needs to be fletched out properly. Also I ran into a bug right on the tutorial, I went through the floor and got stuck.
Fun, great looking, slasher with a tone of promise for the final release.
I like it! The pumpkins never fail to obliterate me, but it was cool for me to realize you could knock the bananas' projectiles back. I'll totally recommend this game to people I know. I'll probably edit this to go more in-depth soon
Very fun, very addicting, and worth the price!
i havent played much, and i get the sense the actual gameplay will be quite fun, but this is one of the worst tutorials ive ever played. just like. generally.
Got laid-off and decided to release peak
Fruit ninja meets Rogue-Lite parkour furry madness?! Shut up and take my money! Parkouring is great, balancing high dmg passive skills and doing connected kills to keep up your dash abilities maximizing crit hits. I also love the story itself centered around fruit, has a very "if you can grab the pebble from my hand" type of vibe lol. Visually aesthetic wise is definitely great brand identity going for it. Mind you there a few minor bugs (nothing game breaking mind you) but mainly due with going from one level to the other as you progress. Dude hit it out the park with this one. I can see this being very popular. The dev is also incredibly active and open and positive to feedback and responds in kind with solid fixes and updates.
I think this is (and will be) a good game, as any game that starts with a Panda Bear launcher should be. I'm not exactly practiced with this style of game, so most of my issues come from conflicting mental maps for controller layout, or just not being used to the situational awareness needed to monitor all directions at once. Aside from that, the mechanics seem to flow together well, and the various weapons are currently fun. I'm very curious to see how much lore will end up being added in the full version, but even without it the concept is fun enough.
Pretty cool and enjoyable rogulite! Runs don't take long to complete and you definitely feel yourself getting stronger with each one. tl;dr - pretty cheap and fun, feels good to play, totally recommended Now, for some details: I enjoy the visual style and find the graphics pretty neat. The performance is quite good, i never had any issue with not having enough frames or them not being stable enough. Music ranges from being ok (but the good side of ok) to being quite good. There isn't too much varierty, but music shuffles each level (every couple of minutes) and is kinda dynamic, so it's not too big of a deal. Gameplay loop is solid, and the random ranged/melee/buff items make every run feel pretty neat and give a decent amount of variety even with (for now) somewhat limited content. You could totally get a somewhat niche, but powerful item early in the run and have a weird but also pretty powerful build to have fun with. The melee combo and movement systems are pretty easy to get into, but take some runs to master. They let you feel really cool when you pull something crazy off (which you will often). Since most of the time you're kind of a glass cannon, running and jumping around constantly is pretty much required, so you'll be doing crazy moves constantly once you're past the first few stages.
