Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Rubbish. Just find this, find that, no story. Waste of money. Why do they do this to us? Oh, I know. For the money. This is the second game like this that I have bought. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Must do more research before I buy. Or not buy.
Prepare for a frustrating journey into the realm of Hidden Object Secrets: The Whitefield Murder Collector's Edition—a game that purportedly offers a hidden object adventure with an engaging story-line; however, it ultimately falls short in numerous areas. Although fans of Domini Games' New York Mysteries series may be attracted to this title, it does not live up to the standards established by its predecessors. The gameplay comprises hidden object scenes distributed across numbered levels, interspersed with mini-games like a traditional hidden-object game instead of a hidden-object puzzle adventure. As you advance through the game, you will be tasked with locating objects by name, solving anagrams, deciphering riddles, identifying textures, or recognizing silhouettes. This, however, leads to a rapid onset of repetition, as you are compelled to revisit the same scenes multiple times, resulting in a prevailing sense of monotony. Furthermore, there exists an additional challenge of uncovering a mysterious desert concealed within each scene. However, the game fails to offer any clues or hints regarding the identity to these enigmatic items, compelling players to resort to blind guesses and depend on sheer luck rather than skill. This aspect of randomness amplifies the frustration and detracts from the overall enjoyment of the game. Adding to the frustration, the narrative of the game feels disjointed; only scattered cut-scenes provide fleeting glimpses into the overarching story. This results in a confusing and unsatisfying experience, as the plot becomes increasingly difficult to follow. Coupled with the repetitive nature of the hidden object scenes, the game fails to maintain a compelling and immersive experience. It's plagued by poor graphics, which make it difficult to distinguish tiny objects (this leads to unnecessary confusion). The presence of similar objects to those you're searching for further compounds the frustration—instances like searching for a football, only to discover it was actually a soccer ball, are common. To make matters worse, the game lacks a zoom function, which could have greatly alleviated this issue. Inconsistent capitalization in the anagram searches adds to the confusion, creating avoidable frustration for players; however, the developers could have addressed these issues more effectively. Although the concept has potential, the execution leaves much to be desired. Although the game features five music tracks, their sudden cessation during gameplay significantly undermines the overall experience. Furthermore, the animated developer's logo acts as an unwelcome advertisement for another title, which, regrettably, cannot be disabled. Customization options are quite limited—there is only one graphic resolution available alongside the option for a window mode. This game caters exclusively to English-speaking players, as it lacks support for additional languages. Additionally, there are no Steam achievements to pursue, leaving completionists feeling dissatisfied. In summary, Hidden Object Secrets: The Whitefield Murder Collector's Edition presents a frustrating and disappointing experience, blemished by repetitive gameplay, interspersed storytelling, inadequate object distinction and a noticeable lack of polish. With numerous problems afflicting the game, it is difficult to recommend this title, even for the most devoted fans of the hidden object genre.
