This game is not worth 10$ I'm glad I got it for free.

Hidden Caves is a casual hidden-object puzzle game developed by Hede using the studio’s HEDE Game Engine and published by Hede. The title follows the familiar formula used in many of the developer’s “Hidden” series games, where the primary goal is simply to search detailed scenes for concealed items. Instead of focusing on storytelling, action gameplay, or evolving mechanics, the experience is built around observation and patience. Players are placed in underground environments filled with small visual details and must carefully examine each scene in order to locate the objects hidden within it. The concept behind the game is deliberately simple. Each level presents a large illustration of a cave environment populated with various rocks, animals, decorations, and natural features. Among these elements are specific objects that the player must locate. A list of these items appears on the screen, and the player must search through the environment to find them. Once an object is spotted, the player clicks on it to confirm the discovery and earn points. The level continues until every required item has been successfully identified. The environments themselves are designed as static scenes rather than fully animated spaces. Instead of exploring caves through movement, players examine a single image that represents an underground area. The challenge lies in identifying which parts of the image correspond to the items listed in the objective panel. Some of the hidden objects are easy to recognize, while others blend cleverly into the surrounding textures. This encourages players to scan the entire environment carefully, paying attention to small shapes and subtle color variations. One of the features that adds a small amount of replay value is the game’s dynamic item selection system. Rather than forcing players to find the exact same objects every time a level is played, the game randomly chooses which items must be located during each session. Because of this system, returning to a previously completed level can still present a different challenge. Even though the environment itself does not change, the shifting list of objectives means that players must look at the scene with fresh attention each time. The gameplay pace is intentionally relaxed. There are no strict time limits pressuring players to rush through the puzzles. Instead, the game allows players to search at their own speed, creating a calm and low-stress experience. This design makes Hidden Caves particularly suitable for casual gaming sessions where players want to unwind and focus on simple observational tasks rather than complex problem-solving. The scoring system provides a small layer of progression. Every object that is correctly identified contributes to the player’s score. These points can be compared on leaderboards, allowing players to compete indirectly by attempting to achieve higher scores than others. While the competitive aspect is relatively minor, it adds an additional incentive for players who enjoy optimizing their performance. Visually, Hidden Caves uses a pixel-art style that emphasizes clarity rather than realism. The cave environments are constructed from simple but colorful textures that represent rocks, underground terrain, and decorative objects. Despite the modest graphical style, the scenes are filled with small details that help create the illusion of a lively underground setting. The abundance of environmental elements also makes it easier for hidden objects to blend naturally into the background. The minimalist art direction works well for the gameplay because it allows players to quickly distinguish shapes and patterns while scanning the scene. Instead of overwhelming the player with highly complex visuals, the game keeps the focus on identifying hidden items. This balance between simplicity and detail ensures that the puzzles remain visually readable while still presenting enough challenge. Sound design in Hidden Caves is equally understated. Soft background music accompanies the gameplay, creating a calm atmosphere suitable for careful searching. The soundtrack remains unobtrusive so that players can concentrate on spotting hidden objects. Small sound effects provide feedback when items are successfully discovered, reinforcing the sense of progress without interrupting the relaxed flow of the game. One of the strongest aspects of Hidden Caves is its accessibility. Because the mechanics are so straightforward, the game can be enjoyed by players of all ages and experience levels. There are no complicated controls or lengthy tutorials required to understand how the game works. Within seconds of starting a level, players can begin scanning the scene and attempting to locate the listed objects. However, the same simplicity that makes the game easy to approach also limits its long-term appeal. The central mechanic—searching for hidden objects within static scenes—remains the same throughout the entire experience. While the dynamic object system adds minor variety, the gameplay itself does not evolve or introduce new mechanics as players progress. Another limitation lies in the scale of the project. Hidden Caves does not offer additional gameplay modes, narrative elements, or more complex puzzle systems. Players move from one environment to the next performing essentially the same activity. For fans of hidden-object games this may still be enjoyable, but players seeking deeper gameplay or more varied challenges may find the experience somewhat repetitive. Despite these shortcomings, Hidden Caves succeeds at delivering what it promises: a calm and straightforward hidden-object puzzle game. The act of slowly scanning the environment and finally spotting a cleverly hidden item can be surprisingly satisfying. For players who enjoy observational challenges and relaxing puzzle experiences, the game provides a simple but pleasant way to spend time. Ultimately, Hidden Caves works best as a lightweight casual game rather than a full-scale puzzle adventure. Its simple mechanics, peaceful pacing, and accessible design make it ideal for short play sessions where players can unwind while searching for hidden details in underground environments. Although it lacks the complexity and variety found in larger puzzle titles, it still offers a modest but enjoyable experience for fans of the hidden-object genre. Rating: 6/10
Short and boring hidden objects game
I found everthing, nice

Total Puntuaciones (Aceptable)5.8Buenas intenciones, ejecución irregular y comunidad inexistente.

Find 32 hidden items. It took me 10 minutes to beat on my first try. The colors are pretty but that's basically the only positive thing I can say. There is also no reason for this game to be 7.42 GB. The devs didn't even bother to name the achievements properly. This game is not worth $10, and it's certainly not worth the regular price of $200 (!!!)
