Hidden Cats in Barcelona

I came for a chill game, stayed because I couldn’t stop hunting “just one more cat”… for way longer than I’d like to admit. Super relaxing, surprisingly addictive, and somehow turning grayscale into color feels like a life achievement. 10/10 would lose track of time again 🐱

Another amazing release! The quality just keeps getting better, and the kitties somehow get even cuter every time! I absolutely love the mix between real players’ cats (which are always such a fun surprise to find) and the themed little ones that bring so much charm and personality to each city. P.S.: the trumpet kitty completely stole my heart. I also have been following your games for years, and it’s been really cool to watch how each new game improves based on player feedback. As an example, I personally don’t use hints because I like the challenge, and I enjoy when smaller maps only get colored at the end (it makes everything more rewarding). But what I really appreciate is that you give us options. You make it possible for different types of players to enjoy the game in their own way, and that’s something not every developer manages to do. And honestly, the maps keep getting more beautiful, and the games feel more polished with every release. It really shows the care you put into them. Can’t wait to see which city the kitties will take over next!

The last two levels are not accessible even though I finished the previous ones already. Real bummer! Besides that it’s a good game but please fix this! Playing on Deck, in case that’s important.

Cherchez les chats cachés et personnages dans la ville animée de Barcelona, colorez l’image au fur et à mesure, déverrouillez des niveaux bonus. Les bâtiments qui se colorent au fil du temps où l’on avance dans le jeu sont très satisfaisants, j’ai adoré, très agréable à jouer. Le seul bémol est qu’il est trop court. Je recommande fortement et surtout « miaouuuuuu ».

Hidden Cats in Barcelona is the kind of game i play to relax, such great experience hunting for some cats in such highly detailed, hand drawn map. The music is also great, very relaxing and yet from time to time, i found myself tapping along with the beat. I must mention my nephews are also enjoying very much this series. The gameplay is super chill, with no pressure at all, went looking around — and before i knew it, i have found 150 plus cats on your counter 😂😂😂 Love it!

As always, I loved this little HOG from Nukearts! I like how they incorporated a difficulty setting!! We saw a glimpse of this in their last Christmas game, and I'm so happy to see how they worked it into the new one! I do miss the cats meowing as a hint though :( I guess there's really no need for both (and if I had to choose, I would choose this difficulty selection method), buuuuut it was cute. We are soooo close to a "Hidden Cats in New Orleans" game... I can FEEL it!!!
