Hi Eggplant!

Rather than a traditional farming game, this is a hardcore growing experience.

The game focuses on the growing process itself. Harvesting eggplants takes much more than simply watering and fertilizing them. You’ll need to manage your limited stamina, keep an eye on the soil, moisture, fertility, weeds, and pests, and perform each task at the right time.

Some of its mechanics were inspired by Spelunky.

The peaceful visuals may look relaxing, but growing eggplants is anything but easy. Compacted soil, fertilizer burn, dehydration, lodging, and pest infestations can all kill your seedlings. If a seedling dies, your current run will come to an end—you’ll have to start over with the knowledge gained from your previous attempts, until you finally manage to harvest 10 eggplants.

Weeds, water levels, soil fertility, and whether you prune unwanted branches and lower leaves in time will also affect the final quality of your eggplants.

Occasionally, you’ll find helpful tips in your mailbox. Use them to gradually master the art of cultivation and grow more Purple Star eggplants.
