Hexahedra

If you are into puzzles or programming this is probably your thing. The puzzles get gradually harder and harder. You feel clever when you finally solved it. Often times when you solve puzzle you go back to it and try to optimise your solution. Really fun and challenging game!

It's a while since I got pen and paper out when playing a video game, but I've made myself a cube as an aid to factory design. The evolution of the mechanics through the levels was well paced and the process control system works really well to make long chains clear when debugging. I also really enjoyed the art style. It's clear but adds a lot flavour to the factory. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who already like factory and programming games or who want to get into them for fun or education.

Been looking forward to this game since finding it in the demo fest a few years ago, happy it's finally out. Hexahedra is a programming puzzle game that has some really good optional challenges. If the idea of both watching a solution you spent time crafting as well as optimizing and crafting multiple solutions sounds good to you, consider picking it up! I *extremely* appreciate that you can save multiple solutions for each puzzle, 'cause I don't wanna just go clearing out my original solutions just to try another way to solve it.

Having played during the Beta, now after release. I am absolutely loving the complexity of the puzzles, it makes the brain work in ways i have never had to before. All i see when i close my eyes are Cubes! The artwork is great, and it gives a great factory feel The impulsive need to replay each level until i reach a satisfactory level of optimisation. if you love a challenge, please give this game a go!

If you like mind-boggling puzzle games I can recommend this. Have started and could not stop. Will definitely invest some time into this game!

Sometimes they're different materials or colours or something, or sometimes parts of them are different materials or colours, or maybe parts of them are just missing, okay? Well, it doesn't matter, you've got some things that're a bit like cubes and you need these other cubes... or things that're a bit like cubes. Then you've got some... machines? Machines can do lots of things like paint cubes or take them apart or fire lasers at them or set them on fire or temporarily remove them from existence or... Well, it's not as dangerous as it sounds. But there's a lot of things!. Point is that if you tell the machines to turn on at the right times you can turn the first lot of cube-like things into the second lot of cube-like things. Get it? This is a Zachlike, and if you know what that means, or even if you don't but you like a good puzzle game and are curious about this space of visual programming puzzle, then the only other thing you need to know is that it really holds up and is well worth your time. As a fan of the genre, here are a few things that really stood out for me: [list] [*] Thinking and reasoning in 3D is genuinely challenging, but you get better at it which is then quite rewarding. [*] The ability to smoothly rewind time, more than being just a useful way of debugging, is wonderfully satisfying. [*] There's enough depth for a change of approach to a puzzle to massively simplify the task... [*] ... And that simplification often makes space for your factory to churn out cubes even faster! [*] Once you have a solution, especially past the early game, sitting back and watching it all go is very enjoyable. [*] Khaledzadeh is fun to (try to) say. [/list]

Enjoyable puzzler with increasing complexity and difficulty which has you build a solution, then allows you to refine it until optimal!

A game i played quite a lot back in the Demo/Closed beta so please forgive the low playtime. A really interesting game. Definitley up your alley if you have played anything Like Human Resource Machine or Seven Billion Humans. - Very detailed Tutorials - Compact, yet complex interface allowing a lot of freedom. - All puzzles have several valid solutions/methods. - Workshop support o: - A level editor in a game released in 2024? Wow! - Jazzy Tunes The Developer is a really nice guy overall. Very enthusiastic, and super active on his discord server. Very quick to support, especially when bugs used to show up!

You need to buy this! Recommended if you're into programming and/or automation.

A really fun puzzle game with a perfect difficulty curve and great tutorials to guide you through the new systems.
