The game is great for your money, waiting for updates. The only drawback is that I have poor eyesight, and sometimes it is difficult to see small details.

HONOT isn't a bad game idea; it just needs a lot of polishing and balancing. Now, would I truly give it a positive review in its current underdeveloped and abandoned state? No. The game misses a ton of basic installments and QoL features, such as a helpful tutorial. The controls feel junky, and the aiming mechanism feels weird as the reticle seems to be stuck inside an invisible box. I have finished the game once, and I can't recommend it to others. Everything it provides is "underwhelming". I never even understood the point of the game. There is potential here, but it's wasted. I wouldn't recommend paying for this game; I do feel bad leaving a negative review, but this is how indie devs evolve.
The music is amazing, rest not so much
Combat feels a little arbitrary on the enemies side. Player-side mechanics like the Upgrade/Crafting system for both guns and your own face, as well as magic and even small things like reloading are really fun and, in my humble opinion, the main selling point of the game. It is a bit graphically challenged: - uncovering tiles looks almost as bad as what's below them, just a little barren and cheap - floating still sprites will almost always look cheaper than legitimately animated ones.
I completely forgot I owned this game. It is really fun and has a quirky reload mechanic which is what made it stand out to me. Sadly though it seems to have ben abandoned by the devs. Shame as there are still prevalent bugs in this version of the game. Any hopes of getting these remedied seem slim as of now. Luckily the bugs don't impact gameplay too bad aside from the fact it is in borderless windowed with no way to make it exclusively full screen, infuriating when the game revolves around you throwing your mouse cursor about the place.
I don't want to be mean, you have some cool ideas, and if its your first game that's still impressive. I just wish the game was playable! Fix the bad framerate Fix the text not being displayed properly, Set the mouse to be locked to the screen (or make it a setting) Add resolution and key rebind options Have the same button that open UI also close them, so the player isn't stuck in them. Keep the mouse scrolled with the player Unlock the mouse aiming reticule, so that you can properly click UI elements. Show the hotkeys for important menus on the screen Give visual feedback when you are expected to press or click something Fix or completely remove the fog of war. And improve the tutorial.
