I enjoyed this game so much, and grew very fond of my sweet calicorns. It's such a cute little detail with their different personalities, the ball-fetching and decorations. Will definitely play again! And so beautiful, and stunning music <3
A very peaceful and relaxing game. This adventure left me feeling completely refreshed. I wish it were a bit longer, as it only took me 3 hours to finish, but it was definitely worth it on sale. Enjoy your time with the Calicorns! P.S. I recommend playing with a controller. There were no problems with the controls at all when using one.
very good
Beautiful little escape
Another fun and original adventure from Okomotive
Recomendo!
A simple and cute game with interesting mechanics for herding. If you liked Journey you will probably enjoy this, as it's a similar vibe and has no dialog. I like the small bits of world lore but really wish that was expanded upon more. I did get slightly lost in some areas but I'm also kinda dumb :) I enjoyed the music and visuals, and it was overall a nice relaxing game with good minor moments of tension trying to keep my damn beasts alive. My biggest qualm is that the price is pretty steep for a 3 hour game, but it's worth the buy when it's on a good sale.
This game has a genuinely unique and beautiful art style, and the atmosphere can be pretty relaxing at times. Unfortunately, the actual gameplay experience left me more frustrated than impressed. Right from the start, I found myself confused about what the game wanted me to do. When I got my first Calicorn, I spent way too much time wandering around trying to figure out how to progress because the game does a poor job of explaining its mechanics. I just felt lost. The controls don't help either. Guiding the herd feels awkward and clunky, landing in this weird middle ground where it's neither challenging nor satisfying. Interacting with the Calicorns can also be frustrating, and simple actions often feel harder than they should be. On top of that, the game is surprisingly buggy. I ran into issues that disrupted progress, and I've seen enough reports of other players encountering similar problems that it doesn't feel like an isolated thing. Performance was also strange at times, with the game using far more system resources than I expected for what was happening on screen. There are definitely things to like here—the art direction, music, and atmosphere are all strong—but the confusing design, clunky controls, and bugs ultimately made it hard for me to enjoy. For me, the experience never lived up to the potential of its presentation.
