In the over-satured market of smaller nudity, indie games, developer NAISU previously released many other titles in the genre, however, some standard quality should be expected.Hentai Jigsaw Puzzle 2 delivers exactly what one expects of a title like this.
Jigsaw puzzling is fun in this one and can be quite fast-paced, depending on which player-aid one has selected. Showing of the background, for instance, can significantly speed up gameplay.All is kept at an intro, basic level, pieces cannot be rotated for instance. Downside for me, was how easy the puzzle pieces slot into place. Simply by targeting a piece where you approximately guess it will go, will activate this mechanism too soon. Effectively robbing the player of some of the rewarding feeling puzzling may have on someone.Every puzzle can be replayed, there also is a gallery available, accessible through the main menu.
Artstyle is very clean and appealing, excellently suited for a jigsaw puzzler like this. All is done in the same erotic, tastefull manner. Often in games of the same genre, this is not always the case. Sometimes different artstyles make everything messy, not to mention the obscenity possibly encountered.All puzzle background images are colorful pictures with rather voluptuous girls, sometimes with low fantasy elements.
Music is, as usual in titles like these, nothing special and combined with their repetitiveness can be ignored as a plus. Sound effects have a rewarding effect, though. There even is a commentator voice which will encourage the player in Japanese with an bad English accent, to some hilarious extends. “Pehjoo!” when meaning to say “Good job!” or “Nice-uh!” are examples of this.
Several, three to be exact, clothing styles can be opted, ranging from scarcely clothed, topless or completely naked. This option carries through the gallery as well as the puzzles themselves, no patching is required.
Twenty different puzzles, each with its own girl, are available. Each puzzle can unlock 5 achievements, totaling for 100 achievements in Hentai Jigsaw Puzzle 2. A certain amount of points needs to be scored in order to unlock these, easily done by playing each puzzle with 192 puzzle pieces. Do not even bother to play on lower pieces, since the highest achievement score will unlock the lesser ones as well.You should easily be able to accomplish this in a more relaxed manner, it cannot be the purpose of a puzzle game to stress of their players, right? Beware, however, it will take approximately 8 hours of your valuable gaming time to do so. In the first Hentai Jigsaw Puzzle, the player could cheese and complete all 14 puzzles and unlock all 100 achievements, simply by rushing all puzzles with the minimum of 12 pieces required, easily under an hour. This is definitely not the case in Hentai Jigsaw Puzzle 2.
Replay value is always an option in puzzle games, despite the fact all achievements might already be unlocked.
To conclude: Bought this game at a discounted price, mainly because I like puzzle games and am an achievement hunter and completionist. Hentai Jigsaw Puzzle 2 ticks all these boxes. Had a great time puzzling and unlocking all achievements in the process. When enjoyed, make sure to play Hentai Jigsaw Puzzle 1 as well.
