graphics wise this game looks amazing. its certainly a meme worthy game, its pretty goofy obviously it needs work but its heading a very good direction and awesome with its support for dlss and raytracing
This is nothing more than a tech demo. We tried it out with 5 people which worked for 5 minutes. Changing avatars broke the IK and camera was stuck in the chest. Also it crashed a lot of times when trying to join worlds or when the host left the instance. I like the idea but this is very buggy at the moment, so I can't recommend. Also please introduce MSAA or TAA. The builtin FXAA and FSR don't really work or look bad.

Sad to see this go, i liked the concept of a Unreal Engine social VR platform
Shows promise and been trying to work on releasing content for this game. It's similar to vrchat, but in UE5
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my initial impressions review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/vGBfXINZbzo I bought this for .99 cents and I think it's maybe worth that much currently. Honestly, I experienced 2 crashes and several bugs in less than 1 hour of gameplay. It's currently not anywhere near as good as VR Chat. However, competition is good. This app will migrate to Unreal Engine 5. I think it's worth it to buy this app now, before the migration. Some of the worlds do look very beautiful (and some don't) and the avatars available do look nice. You can also create your own customer avatar / worlds, but you have to read & follow instructions if you want to do something like that. That's not really my thing as a lawyer (have to pay me for that). You do have full locomotion, as well as smooth and snap turning. It says you can choose seated or standing mode, but I didn't notice any difference. You can jump as well. There's props you can use, but I have no idea how to do that. You can also send emojis to anyone in your world. You can add friends. There's also a text chat if you want to do instead of voice. I had no problems just connecting and people being able to hear me and I them. I'll be honest, I'm not the most social person. So I don't know if I'll come back to this or not. However, I think we do need a real competitor for VR chat, especially since AltSpace VR got bought out by Microsoft. It's a small community and the app is buggy. For .99 cents though, I'm willing to take a gamble. It works well enough. Plus Helios gets bonus points from me because I did not run into any little (screaming) kids during my short stay. Also, there is currently no registration process, it uses your Steam name by default. Rate 5/10.
If you enjoyed my review, please consider joining my Steam Curator Group. Another Immersive Virtual World for the Virtual Junkies to submerge in. Cheers to Digital Drugs! With ambitious UE5 implementation in plan, this one has its potential to shine. But it is still at its Infantry stage and not even reach its childhood stage yet, and hopefully will emerge and grown to its adulthood without being abandoned by its parents like what we've seen with a lot of these virtual worlds who lost their parent's care before they get to grown up.
Just successfully ran this on an MacBook pro M1 through Parallels and was very surprised at how well it performed. Good job guys! the graphics in this look very promising!
needs more dev time.
